If NFL is A level athleticism

Greg Hard is an inspiration for asthmatics like myself.

Because there is like less then a second of action per minute.

I play my A level athlete in defense mode and end my turn.

I have asthma, but I dont need my inhaler as long as I keep my bodyfat in check.

Because the NFL let him use his inhaler on the sidelines, dummy

I've known multiple amateur and pro MMA fighters with asthma.

The reason Greg Hardy is good at MMA is he's just more naturally inclined to it. Not every NFL athlete will do well in MMA. Athleticism isn't an end all be all. Asthma can be dealt with, from everything I've seen. Hardy is green and is likely still figuring out how to adjust to it in an MMA context.

How did Greg Hardy do so well with lifelong exercise induced asthma?

Mitrione had a career total of two tackles and two assisted tackles. So four if you feel generous. He was a bottom tier NFL player, though better than Brendan Schaub. He achieved much more in MMA, and although I never considered him elite in MMA, he's had a respectable career. I always liked the guy.

NFL players go for like 15 seconds max per play and then take a 30 second break after every play.

Yes, but it also heavily emphasizes raw size and strength due to the pauses in the action, allowing for a totally different cardio footprint and athletic model (ie, there few if any Pacific Islanders in the NBA whereas there are fucktons in the NFL due to their body types and genetics)

The A level genetics that will dominate MMA is when high level NBA-type blacks start getting into it as full natives. who somehow wandered into a bad-neighborhood gym at age 11, are 'saved from the streets due to MMA" and grow to 6'7, 245. When the UFC finally gets a Lebron, it will make Jon Jones look quaint.

NFL players only need to go for 30 explosive seconds at a time then have a long rest.

It's completely different.

Because an athlete that can run a Chris Johnson like 4.2 40 would only need a class of grappling to be champion...
