If NFL is A level athleticism

Usain Bolt played professional soccer you retard. Every comment i ever see from you on this forum is so full of fail.

Usain Bolt wanted to play soccer, but his attempts to start a football career never really got off the ground. He trained with an Australian club for a few weeks and played in two or three friendly matches against amateur teams, but never played in a professional match from what I can see. It does not undercut the point the other fellow made in any serious way, other than as an obscure footnote.

Yeah but Bolt only played about a year and no one really remembers

Kylian Mbappe, Hector Bellerin and a few others have been timed quicker than Bolt.

Bolt still counts though.

It’s so funny seeing all you nerds trying to discredit NFL players. In pure athleticism, nothing holds up against the NFL. Also, pretty damn impressive that Hardy had never trained any martial art in his entire life and 2 years later he’s competing at a high level at the highest level of fighting on the planet. Never mind the guys he’s fighting have been wrestling since they got out of the womb. I would love to see a cornerback or a safety come in and just tear it up. It’s only a matter of time.

Here’s another thing to think about: do you know why wrestlers do so well in mma? Let me guess, it’s because wrestling is SOOO important in modern mma? Wrong. Ask anyone who understand wrestling and they’ll tell you the level of wrestling (and grappling in general, barring a few specialists) is fairly low. Nothing you can’t lesrn in a year, probably less. Of course, none of you dorks could execute on these moves in a fight because they require an extremely high degree of athleticism to do effectively against a talented, resisting opponent. And that gets us to our answer. The reason wrestlers dominate is because they’re absolutely fantastic athletes. Sure, their experience with weight cutting and rounds definitely helps. However, the primary reason they dominate is because they’re light years ahead of everyone else WRT athleticism. Their explosiveness, quickness, balance — it’s all on another level...just like football players.

I'd put NBA players up there in athleticism as well.

And everyone saying "Well NFL guys go for like 15 seconds and get a break". That's a terrible argument. Kenyan runners run marathon in like 2 hours. That doesn't mean they are more athletic than a guy like Vernon Davis. There is more to athleticism than cardio.

"
Vernon Davis, Maryland, 2007
Davis showed off his freak athletic ability at the combineOpens in a new Window. with a 4.38-second 40-yard dash—absurdly impressive for for a 6’3″, 252-pound tight end—along with 33 reps on the 225 bench press and a 42″ vertical jump."

That is an A level athlete.

Yes he did play pro.

NFL is just a bunch of unauthentic slobs taking a break after 1 second of action.

Plus they wear pads despite being covered in blubber.

I’m suprised they don’t travel around the field on mobility scooters like most of US and A.

You americans are probably the most gay sportsfan's in the world. Go jerk off to your tall and explosive athletes in a corner and leave the normality to the rest of the world. And whats with all the god damn number statistics and obscure 'records' that don't make sense at all. Like first person to score 13 while eating an apple during commercial break or some other dumb shit.

Do you know what asthma is? I guess multiple time Gold medal Olympia. Jackie Joyner Kersee should have her athleticism questioned. Goddamn this place is dumb.

Yeah but if your talking about 40m, Bolt was never that fastest at that short distance. These NFL guys would beat Bolt in the 40m dash.

These NFL guys are serious speed burners - Deion Sanders / Michael Vick speed.
5. Saquon Barkley (New York Giants)
4. DeSean Jackson (Philadelphia Eagles)
3. Julio Jones (Atlanta Falcons
2. Marquise Goodwin (San Francisco 49ers)
1. Tyreek Hill(Kansas City Chiefs)

I'm sure you know much more about it than I do, but from his wikipedia page, seemed like he trained with an Australian club for eight weeks, played in a few friendlies, did not play any pro matches, and then retired.

Here's an article that says he did not play in any matches for the team once the season began. "He scored two goals in his first effort for the Mariners in a friendly, but did not play matches when the season began." I apologize if I'm missing some context here, but the two sources I've looked at seem to be saying that he never played in any professional matches. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-australia-46068150 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usain_Bolt#Football_career

Do you actually believe this for real? The hands down fastest man in the world of all time would get beaten by these unknown guys in any sort of short distance run?

He kept in much better shape for football, because his position required it. Any fat ass who hits hard can be a UFC HW, so he's let himself go.

<Lmaoo>

In US tall guy = athletic.
NFL player = A level athlete,
Fat NFL player with astma inhaler, heart problems and can barely walk = still A level athlete because he can take 2 steps lighting quick before dropping over dead.

It's pathetic really. They have been brainwashed since birth to respond like this so they don't notice how ridiculous it appears.

And btw this whole asthma thing. I wouldn't believe any high level athlete having asthma besides having an excuse to get a little performance boost with the inhaler. Theres strange coincidence with alot off cross country skiers strangly having asthma when you have to have top level conditioning for that sport. Kinda reminds one off the whole UFC TRT debacle that happened.

Do you really trust how they measure those speeds?
Apparently Mbappe sprinted faster than Usain Bolt @chuckleknuckle
https://brobible.com/sports/article/kylian-mbappe-sprint-speed-faster-usain-bolt/
Read again, it says his top speed was faster than bolts in one specific run. There's more to 100. 200m or even 40 than just top speed. Start, acceleration, how long you can maintain top speed etc
