Tom will be cageside and a part of me can't help but think that Dana is telling Jon what he wants to hear now but as soon as that fight is over they'll be pushing Tom and may even have him surprise enter the cage to square off to pressure Jon into the next big fight.

I predict Tom jumps in the cage and says......

Jon can try to take his gloves off to signal his retirment first but that could be a foolish move.

If he were to fight Periera or Tom after he would probably get the biggest payday of his career.

Jon will pull a diva move and retain the belt for a year and then retire.

Tom has stated he'd fight Jon and Stipe that night one after the other. I'm sure he'll swing by the cage unless the company doesn't want him to.

Among the general fan base, Pereira has become a bonafide star. It has gotten to the point that Pereira vs Jones would be the type of fight that draws in a lot of casuals and makes massive amounts of money.

Aspinall is beloved by hardcore fans, but they are comparatively small in number. He also has a following in the UK, but they don't deliver much in the way of PPV revenue.

It is more likely that the UFC sends Pereira into the cage to square off with Jones.

Nah. It's kinda sad because Jon vs Tom and vs Francis would be one of the best fight of all time in Heavyweight.

But I also kinda glad cause I like both Tom and Jon. Wished they have the chance to fight Francis though.
Tom is an overrated nobody. BUt Joe said he was so fast, like Meathead Mitrione. That is all some people need to believe.

Boner fighting Tom doesn't really do anything for him.

Aspinall only has 3 good wins at HW and he's still largely untested, though he's doing good.

If he beats Stipe and retires, I hope nobody tries a run in.

He's been an amazing and cheating fighter, so it's something between good bye and good riddance.

I don't think the UFC will let that happen. They'll strip Jones within a few months if he doesn't agree to fight Aspinall.
