If Fedor came to UFC instead of Strikeforce, would he have had the same losing streak?

Fedor went 1-3 in Strikeforce before leaving.

Beating Brett Rogers but losing against Werdum, Silva, and Henderson.

Some big names at the time in the UFC were Lesnar, Carwin, Cain, and JDS.

Do you think if UFC signed Fedor instead of Strikeforce he would have done just as bad or could he have gone on to become champion?
Very likely, yes. Because he was past it at that point. So it doesn't matter where he goes.

He probably would have fought actual HW's instead of a MW who agreed to fight at HW because he's a savage and wanted to fight Fedor

would not have gone well for emilianenko

God bless those Russian refs for letting a fighter who's still in it continue. If this was UFC or American MMA in general, it would have been stopped 5 times over the first second Fedor fell down.

I wouldn’t be TOO quick to praises those guys over there, the fact Fedor didn’t walk away with an L on his record is pretty hilarious and extremely suspect.

Only way Fedor could have saved his career was I

that fight was live on sherdog

still rememeber the GOAT commentator who sounded like Borat
It was the best. ‘Oh, such tough fight for Fedor…’

That's a judging thing, which is a different story. As far as the ref goes, that's the type of thing we need over here in the US.

Fedor was past his prime and those 3 losses were flukes anyway. Hendo was juiced and it was stopped early. He would’ve beat Werdum if he didn’t jump in his guard and Bigfoot was also juiced and it ended due to a doctors stoppage.

Fedor beat plenty of ufc heavyweights which proves he would’ve been dominant in the ufc as well

Ohhhh another mma fan with zero knowledge

Better question is instead of going to Pride...what if he went straight to UFC from Rings???
How long would he have been UFC champ?

Honestly I think he had some bad luck going 1-3 in Strike force... But who fuckin knows. I always thought Fedor showed up looking poorly trained in those fights. Maybe he would have taking his opponents more seriously in the UFC.

Or he bought into his own hype and thought he could show up fat into his 30s and continue to beat everyone

400-0

If you also count the fights on the beach at Fight Island

I think Fedor would've had the same struggles. His prime left pretty quickly after Pride.

Amazing isn’t it? Guy’s retired and almost 50 yet people still can’t get enough.

Truly the GOAT.

Nah, it says a lot about you guys that you're still talking about likke 2006-2009 even though Fedor was still fighting as of 2 months ago in 2023.

So weird how you guys don't discuss that majority of his career!

Fedor is literally on Putin's Council of Sports.

You're batshit crazy if you think he's losing a decision in Russia lol.

The top ranked fighters in the UFC when Fedor fought Brett Rogers were:
Brock, Mir, Nog, JDS, and Randy in that exact order.

He would've been a heavy favourite against Mir, Nog, & Randy for sure. How the fights would've gone, who knows. Age hits everyone. Usain Bolt stopped being the fastest man alive 10 years ago, despite the fact that he still holds the world record today.

Another dumbass who can’t keep his name out of your mouth. Look at how much time you spend shitting your diapers about him. Your post history is basically Fedor and Pride.

What’s next wikig171? Will I be making you look like an idiot again as you furiously search Wikipedia to find an argument?

It’s 2023 bud and it looks like you’re gearing up for another long night of furious Wikipedia Fedor posting.

You and TS should just meet up some time and come out of the closet together.

Get some sleep bud. You have a big day of Fedor ahead of you tomorrow.

It's a shame that Couture fight didn't work out. That was teh big match teh UFC waz trying to make before Lesnar beat Couture.

If Fedor could've kicked Lesner in teh diverticulitis like Overeem did... then Fedor could've beaten him, though it could've gone the other way if Lesnar was able to get him down consistently & ground control him.
Couture tried to leave the ufc and they wouldn't let him lmao
