That's irrelevant....that would only matter iof Charles had beaten them first which he didn't.

Plus he was nearly finished by both. Khabib beat both at a canter.
 
Yeah LW doesn't have a GOAT that's hard to pass like GSP and Jones so i'm sure in the next 5 years there will be a new LW Goat but i don't think Charles has what it takes

That's the way Charles fights, he is a killed or be killed guy, he doesn't dance around until he gets the TD like Khabib. He finished those guys, so like it or not, he beat Khabib's best competition, and finished them. Beating an actual tough matchup like Islam puts him above Khabib.

Disagree. Those guys are still top contenders.
And that is Khabibs best competition ... people who can and have lost to a guy with a ton of loses.

He aint like Jones who took DCs zero amongst many others for example.

Khabib's resume in comparison to any other GOAT level fighter is ... weak or at best ... incomplete.
 
He's already a legend and that would further cement his status. I just have a hard time calling someone GOAT when they have lost decisively so many times. I put him in the same category as guys like Dan Henderson.

It doesn't matter, he still struggled a lot vs those guys, Khabib didn't, and Khabib beat them first which is more important.

LEVELS

Actual GOATS like GSP and Jones most of the time dominated their competition and din't struggle in every single fight or get dropped multiple times very early on.

Also Charles was finished 9 times ffs, Khabib 4 title wins is better than charles 2 title wins.

Those are the facts, Charles is fantastic but he is not on Khabib level

Sure, this makes sense in the Mt Rushmore of MMA discussion, but we aren't comparing him to GOATs - we are comparing him to Charles Oliveira lol.

What are you talking about? Oliveira already faced everyone in the top 5. That's what makes Charles great. He's active on top of being one of the most exciting fighters ever.

Conor starched a top 5 LW of all time to become champion. Barboza and Johnson were both in/around top 5. Al was a top 10'er.
