They literally had identifiers and badges visible. According to them, they fired on the truck because it struck two agents. Watch the video they were in uniform with badges showing. They were told to exit the vehicle which they legally can do. When they refused to exit the vehicle they were going to break thr window and remove them, which is legal. Then the driver runs going in the direction of some of the officers which is why they shoot.
Im all for an investigation since shots were fired. If they violated law or policy then by all means hold them responsible.
This is like the dumbass's that refuse to get out on a traffic stop unless you get a supervisor. There is no law or right requiring that only some departments policy. Just like dumbass's say you can't arrest me because you didn't read me my rights.

They are not above the law , border patrol cannot legally order citizens out of their car they can ask for ID but U.S citizens have a right to remain silent ,without search warrants they cannot raid someone’s car let alone break windows where the man at that point was in the right he’s being attacked .
