What exactly did he do to escalate ? Since the NG has been brought in the number of violent incidents have went down. Each day was less violent then the day before. You try to de-escalate them so they don't turn into violent mobs in the first place, which Trump obviously had no interest in doing.
He chose escalation to justify violence and force against protesters and government critics and normalize this route for the future.
101 playboook for every fascist leader in history. That's why I said go read some books.
You might be right, this is exactly the kind of strategy that got goldfish such as yourself to vote for Mark CarneyHey trump. Did you see Elon posted the real reason you haven’t released the Epstein files?
He did? Quick, deploy the military some place to distract people!!!
So you are finally admitting that Trump as deescalated the situation then ?What do you mean "its only a matter of time" ? There weren't any rocks thrown last night, and there was almost zero protest period. I wouldn't be surprised if no protest happen at all tonight. You guys have a weird fascination about acting as if the protest have been at the same level of burning cars for 4 days straight, when that simply isn't the case.
Did you even watch any of the protest yesterday?
Let me put it in terms you can understand, just like there is a huge difference between male and female vaginas, there is a huge difference between violent protesters and those exercising their 1st amendment rights.for the sake of argument, sure.
But That wasn’t the discussion we were having. If someone gets arrested for terrorism there first must be reasonable evidence to suspect them of that crime. (IE: throwing bricks at cop cars). You’re advocating for “checking the legal status of everyone of these commie terrorists in the streets of LA”
And I’m trying to understand how exercising my first amendment right would give the government the right to violate my 4th? There are hundreds of thousands of people protesting.
To be clear- if someone is protesting but not breaking any laws should they have their 4th amendment rights violated?
To answer your last question. No, I said arrest the terrorists, which based on their actions you agree there is reasonable evidence to suspect them of that crime. I never said blanket arrested everybody did I ?
Now I do think if you show up to a protest where people are committing violence you should either try to put a stop to it (it really makes your side look complicit when you stand there, do nothing and allow it) or go home. Do I think these people are guilty of terrorism for this no ? Do I think they share some portion of responsibility on an ethical level ? Absolutely.
