Sing the American anthem or GTFO beetch
If they're gonna walk all the way back over the border, they might aswell steal a good pair of shoes.

Why not defer to state and local officials as is the norm? IIRC the last time the National Guard was nationalized by the president was in the 60s, seems like a pretty drastic move.
Further, perhaps ICE and DHS officials driving around in unmarked vans and grabbing people in plain clothes is partly to blame for the unrest. Why enforce the law in such a provocative and fear inducing manner? Don't you see how that approach helped spark the unrest?
Local officials don't have to help enforce federal law, that's part of the autonomy that the federal system allows.Well were the local politicians on the record about enforcing the law and supporting the law intervention? cause it objectively doesn't look like it. it's not a flimsy pretense, it's a pretty solid casus belli that Trump, granted, like a sly politicians he is, is taking advantage of.
Trump's deliberately provocative use of federal law enforcement, grabbing people off the street with plain clothes officers and throwing them into unmarked vans, is what provoked this to begin with. He's now using the protests in response to those actions to engage in an abnormal flexing of federal authority. Comes off like a power grab.Trumps wasn't doing the optics himself. he had plenty of help from the local politicians.
Again, it's obvious Trump is taking advantage of the situation. But perhaps the locals shouldn't have allowed it to reach the "situation" stage.
I don't think state and local officials are required to aid Feds so idk if that is a legitimate pretense.Because the feds were not being protected while doing their job by the local government.

Looks like its clear who and what they are.

but not illegal, is it?provocative use of federal law enforcement
ICE and DHS officers and their raids is what provoked the unrest, Trump is just using that unrest as a pretense to deploy military force in a state he had an open vendetta against. That in turn risks greater escalation.Have you not watched any of the numerous videoclips? A lot of the protesters were physically attacking even the cops. Throwing rocks and all sorts of other shit - wrecking cop cars, throwing cinder block pieces off a bridge onto oncoming cars, impeding movement, etc.
You're portraying it like the authorities coming out in force caused the rioting and violence when the National Guard and cops were actually a reaction to the violence.
More people will make excuses for her saying she’s being taken out of contrast .
So no local support ,

The National Guard was only sent on the second day as a reaction.
Well in at least some cases the Trump regime had broken the law in his deportation efforts so it's possible they were overreaching somehow but sure, on its face likely not illegal.but not illegal, is it?
Provocative for these immigrant communities where many illegals who are part of the local fabric and who otherwise work hard are being disappeared by Feds in raids or by plain clothes officers in unmarked vans.and provocative for whom? if you're a criminal, all law enforcement is provocative. this isn't an argument.
you can't be "provoked" into looting, burning cars, and violence. if you're doing that, you're a criminal.
That's quite an ugly thing to say tbh.So Trump is sending in the guard to protect federal agents and buildings. Fuck the rest of thr city i hope they burn it down.

come on man, ICE is literally created for taking illegals away. they're the lawful side here.Provocative for these immigrant communities where many illegals who are part of the local fabric and who otherwise work hard are being disappeared by Feds in raids or by plain clothes officers in unmarked vans.
