Social ICE/deportation protests and riots megathread

Do you think that granny that was held over a $25 bad check she wrote 10 years ago to be a criminal?

Technically yes, since she got probation.

I cannot believe this was allowed to happen for 4 years. Trump will never be able to reverse all that damage in 3.5 years. Every single person is making it really hard to deport them.

All the 1 million plus Venezuelans that came in are refusing to leave. We've only deported like 2.5k Venezuelans so far. That is a pittance compared to how many came in.

They're targeting their place of work. If they can't work, they can't eat. They'll have to go back on their own accord. ICE is cracking down hard to crime rings, car washes, Home Depots, laborers, etc..

Oh Hog, you’re always such a doomer on this topic.

Deportations, REAL DEPORTATIONS, are through the roof when you consider the minimal stat padding at the border with fake deportations of denying the same migrants several times each before they get in anyway.

Even the media, who would always hop on a chance to show Trump failing to deliver a promise have labeled these mass deportations.

Combine that with a squeaky clean border things are going smoothly.

Where did you read that 2.5k number? Do you mean the near 1 million currently under TPS?

Bro almost 1 million Venezuelans had their TPS extended by Biden right before he left office as a fuck you. Right after Trump came into office, they canceled the extension - which was until Oct. 2026.

Well now a California Federal judge overruled that. And any appeal is going to take longer than Oct. 2026.

By the time Oct. rolls around and DHS tries to start to get these people to leave, there will be appeal after appeal. Trump's term will run out by the time he can successfully deport any of these people.

They're relying on running out the clock and the vast majority will be successful. So most are here to stay permanently.

LOL So all of the workers that they rounded up at that Hyundai construction site entered the country under the visa waiver program because the Trump admin is delaying business vias while simultaneously demanding more foreign investment to reduce tariffs.

Then these people who were dispatched by Hyundai corporate in South Korea to set up the plant that is supposed to employ Americans get chained and frog marched like criminals.

All because some local fucking racist idiot called ICE for a publicity stunt to run for office.

This administration is a fucking joke.

No foreign company is going to willingly invest in the US with this level of stupidity rampant in the government. It doesn't matter if Trump is out in four years. The GOP could easily elect someone just as unhinged or worse.

I wonder how it is that he managed to bankrupt a casino

What are they going to do in the meantime? They can't work, they can't be outside, they have to go in hiding and somehow manage to get enough money to pay for food, shelter and everything else. Millions of illegals have already self deported.

Spoiler alert: Mass deportations aren't happening.

If the elites didn't want hordes of illegals, they wouldn't be here. But the elites do want them. So they're here.

Orange Man isn't going to fix it. He never was.

Stop being a rube.

Do you know what TPS is? They're protected and have work authorizations. They're not being deported.

Yes I know that. It's really hard deporting people from the middle of the country. But he did manage to basically close the border.

Border security is well and good. I'm all for it. But it's only being allowed because we currently have enough cheap labor to satisfy demand. If word comes to open up the tap again, the tap will open.

Trump already said he's not going after anyone in agriculture, hospitality, or anything else.

I dont know why his followers didn't hear this.

Not happening under this administration. And I don't think the people will stand for it either.

ICE will continue with publicity stunts to give an excuse for the feds to military occupy Dem cities and fuck with the midterm.

But that's all it is.

I can take one look around me and tell you self-deportation ain't happening. Not in any meaningful numbers. Some people will leave because some people always leave, but that's all that are going. No one is going self deporting because they are scared of being caught... and deported.

That's like putting yourself in jail because you are afraid of being arrested.

Where the hell is the logic in that?

The vast majority of Republicans will "stand for" whatever the hell Trump tell them to stand for.

Look at the Epstein files.

Yeah, a few online voices kicked and screamed at first. But within a couple months 90% of Republicans are back in line.

Talking about the next Presidency. There is no way the people will accept mass migration like what happened under Biden.

They already accepted it. Barring a revolution, people can't do much but vote. Question is, will the Dems be haunted by that administration going forward, as they continue to double down on their migrant love?

I can see legit riots happening like Europe is doing, if they do another round of Biden like migrations.

Maybe some disruption here and there, but it takes a lot to make the locals go ham. At the end of the day, most people only react in extreme ways, to what personally effects them. Even in the UK, they're at "mass protests", and that's after their government purposefully covered up child rape gangs to protect their precious mugrants. You kind of have to ask what the line is, if not that. If you're relatively comfortable, regardless of what's going on, you ain't about to risk much more than holding a sign, to make a change.

The real big test that's coming, is AI stealing everyone's jobs. The elites better have a plan for that, because as I said, most people only react in extreme ways, when they're personally effected. That one is coming down the pipe faster than anyone realizes.
