MT

Well, I say mt. I started at 6.50 am and went for a short hard run by myself because everyone was gettign ready still and moaning about the cold.

Did a short run (about 2 ish miles). Came back, no one to hold for me because they were going for a warm up run so I went with them.

After a hour of running we get back but its time for me to get going for work.

I'm pissed off at that one.
I'm off to training tomorrow morning now for 7 am and I'm probably going to run or something tonight because that short run just left me angry that no fucker would take me on the pads and I fucking have had 10 hours kip in 2 days and what did I miss it for this morning. A fucking run.

3 rounds shadow boxing, 10 press ups and 20 crunches and 20 twisting crunches per end of round.

Held for 4 round wearing sauna suite

Hit for 4 rounds wearing that fucking suite.
3 rounds of 10 kick both legs, 20 grab knees, 10 press ups, then 7 kicks, then 5, then 3, then 2 then 1, with every set of kicks with 20 knees and 10 press ups. End of each round, 10 press ups.
Last round was 3 sets of kicks (right leg and left leg being 1) of any number (being ol that was 2 whole sets of 10 kicks, so 60 kicks total * 2, with a single set of triple and a single set of 8 as rest). After each 3 sets 10 straight punches and 1 hard right hand * 3, then back to kicks.

Did 5 minutes of clinch work after a 2 min break, fresh person every 15s. I went first after my rounds on the pads and I was fucked. I kept the suite on.
Then jumping in on the other 4 guys for 5 min rounds.

Conditioning (I had to take the suite off by now). 200 knees, 10 press ups every 50. 150 teeps, 10 press ups, 8 sets of long range knees up and down the room.
70 conditioning sit ups.
10 power low kicks on both sides

40 min run wearing many layers with the boys.
My breakfast has been frozen fruit

Got there late due to getting stuff ready

1 1/2 rounds doing 10 kicks left, 10 kicks right *3, 3*10 straight punches then back to kicks. 10 press ups at the end of the round
Then 4 rounds doing that (when they were on for 5 rounds).
1 round power shots.

Did all that in a very hot room with a fucking sweat suite on. I went for a piss afterwards and my body temp must have been so high that it actually felt hot when I pissed (and no, before anyone says it, I don't have a std, as was suggest by one of the boys)

Then sparred. Had to take off the sweat suite though, far far far too hot.
Sparred for about 50 minutes, doing a few rounds of just me on (and new crap guys from another guy came down. I had to dig in but I was dehydrated to fuck a lot)

200 grab knees, 10 press ups every 50
150 teeps
90 contact drills on the core

On a side note-my lats and calfs cramped up on me A LOT during the session.
I stayed the night at the gym and my ham strings kept cramping up on me.

Went for a run with dan in sauna suite
Skipped for 5-10 min.
Held for rounds
Hit for 3 rounds, 30s rest.
Each round was 3 sets of kicks on each leg (mainly 10, but it varied down to 5's), then 3 sets of 10 punches and a single punch, clinch for 15 s then back to kicks. 10 press ups during the break

Oh yeah, forgot to say lots of core conditioning work

Some of which was the being beaten into the stomach when doing sit ups
The worst at the end was someone standing on my stomach while I crunched up for 50, then another 50 but instead of standing still they moved foward and back (basically rubbing into my core)

3 rounds with sweat suit on

Held for 2 sets of 4 rounds (wore the sweat suit on for the clinch work and pads)

4 rounds with 1 min rest (10 press ups during each break)
2 rounds of 10, 7, 5 right leg and left leg. 3 sets fo 10 punches (with a hard right hand at the end) then 3, 2, 1 then punches again, then back to kicks. Round 1 I got to 5 kicks, round 2 I just finished 7 kicks on the 2nd set
3rd and 4th round was the same with the kicking, but instead of punching it was clinch work with a 'fresh' person
Stretch

Rest of the session was technique work.
End was 300 grab knees, 200 teeps, 10 press ups, 10 long range walking knees up and down the hall and 3 sets of 15 (each leg) power low kicks on the bag.

random post because I haven't posted in here for a while


Got back on the 16th december


Fought in the championships. Won by by the 1st, 2nd win by pts, loss on 3rd to Iranian who kept jumping about and running away like a gay.
He went on to stand and trade with his next 2 opponents and won by ko in the 3rd his next one and ko in 30s of round 1 the last guy to win gold.
I had from the sat till the wed off in bangkok. Just going for long runs and what not (lots of sleeping). Then got to Koh samui the thursday. Went for a run and hit the bag the thursday, trained twice friday, twice sat, sun off. Mon was 2 sessions, tuesday 1 in the after noon, wednesday once in the morning then had the rest of the time off (mainly because I wanted a break and also because I hooked up with a bird on the monday and was too tired to train each day....infact I've been ill since friday because I was so drained)

Na, they only recorded the opening ceremony mate. The fights are never recorded.

Which is a major shame because I'd like to see them. Some really good ones from what I saw (with like 300+ fights over a 6 day period, its bound to happen).
