Ian Garry is the least fearful of the welterweights

honestly despite his record IG is the type of guy that needs Shardog to be recognized or remembered.

Buckley got koed by Di Chirico and i bet that IG isn't going to do the same.

He has been working his way up the ladder I respect him for it. If he beats Buckley impressively he should just wait for a title shot he’ll be 9-0 in the UFC.
he will probably run the whole fight and throw strikes from a mile away to a 50-45

I don't really know what that means. Should he have refused Buckley? Maybe Sean Brady would have been better, but Buckley is only 2 spots below him and Garry has been pretty unimpressive against his last 2 opponents who aren't even in the top 10(not sure if Neal was fringe top 10 when they fought). Best thing for him is to either beat someone in the top 5 or have an exciting fight that can boost his highlight reel, because he's been pretty forgettable lately.

Shavkat is scared of dat azzz

One guy is 18-0 with 18 finishes, the other just eeked out a split over MvP by backpacking for his bum life.

Where is @Ares Black? The two of us have been riding with Garry for a long time now. Think what you will about his personality, but Garry is there to do the damn thing, and his talent level was apparent from early on. WW is a murderers row, but I still think we see Garry hold the belt at some point.

I thought he had ton of potential on the come-up, but his striking looks woefully undeveloped at this stage fighting better athletes/strikers like Neal (still basically a one-handed fighter) and MvP (declined karate out-fighter but still blazingly fast with unpredictable attacks).

Without a speed/reach advantage Garry looks very uncertain of how to work behind his jab and actually create and keep distance, plus once he starts getting tagged he tends to look confused as to what adjustments he should be making depending on the tactics he faces.

He's still a very talented fighter and could level-up still; Buckley is an underrated test since he's a brick shit-house with insane power, even if very rote and predictable in his attacks.

If he beats Buckley I'd like to see Garry face someone like JDM/Edwards to show that his striking game actually works against more technical strikers that are more proven at this stage in order to get his title shot.

He does still need to tighten some things up, for sure, but he has a lot of time to grow, at 26. One thing he does that will continue to benefit him is not stay with the same team for longer than he needs, he moves around and gets different training and perspectives, and it's smart.

I do expect him to stumble at some point, WW is too deep to win them all. I'd favored MVP in their fight, and I'd say Garry/Buckley is 50/50 (Buckley looks great, has found a home at WW). But if Garry has another good 7 or 8 years ahead of him, he's already got a nice foundation to build upon, and if he keeps moving around and finding new perspectives, I think he will win the title eventually.

Shavkat avoided Ian, if he were Brazilian, American, any other fighter, they would say he was running away, but since he is Muslim, he can do anything, if someone criticizes hypocrisy, they are "xenophobic", "racist", except against Brazilian fighters, then you can criticize as much as you want, persecute, be a hater, etc.
God even by troll account standards you are a turd.
Try harder

Garry should fight Colvington, Brady or Usaman

He’s in year 6 of his career, it’s good to be young, but this isn’t HW.

Most fighters peak between years 8-10 of their pro career, after that they physically decline from all the wear and tear. For every Max Holloway there are a dozen Jordan Meins.

In his favor though he doesn’t take a lot of damage and hasn’t had bad injuries, seems to train pretty smart as well. Lot of old declining fighters at the top of WW, so he’s positioned to make a title run if he can tighten up some holes.

Shavkat was literally just given a title shot so I can't see him bothering with anyone outside the top 3 at the moment (or anyone really wanting to watch it)

I don't think his record really justifies the #3 spot yet but I do also think he'll get the belt before long so I don't really want to see Shavkat vs Garry all that much, just cut to the chase and reschedule Belal

Only thing he’ll be holding is his wife’s bfs nuts

8-0 in the UFC but fighting below ranking against the dangerous Buckley who is in a winning streak .
Already 2 winning fight in 2024 , Shavkat got 0
He called out Shavkat but Shavkat ran away because he's a duck
Shavkat is terrified of an opponent just as big and physically imposing as he is that he can't just overpower like a brute, except Ian still has the skill and grace of a world class ballerina. Night-terror matchup for Shavkat.
Congrats, you guys win the undisputed tag team belts of retardation.

I disagree with all of that except the part about Ian being a ballerina.
