Ian Garry = BARELY won against Neil Magny

Ian Garry's performance against Neil Magny was lacklustre. Here's why.

Garry couldn't finish a one-legged Magny. His "kicks" were really just >>>foot sweeps<<< that did NO damage to Magny. A fight is all about damage, and if this was a street fight - which is the purest form of fighting - Garry would have lost, MISERABLY.

I don't agree that Ian "beat" Garry. Magny did not have a full training camp. Garry did. In a rematch, the outcome would be **catastrophically** different.

When Magny did land significant strikes, they were crisper, fuller, juicier, more plump.

Out of all the "dominations" I've seen in MMA (been watching far before UFC 1), this has got to be one of the most MISTERleading.
13-0

Garry dominated the fight. Magny was afraid from start to finish.

I still am reluctant to give excessive praise to Garry, since I think he’s too limited in the welterweight division, but this latest fight was a dominant victory

Ian is only 25, did good for his age and he is still getting better and Neil is no Joke. I seen allot of great fighters have lackluster performances as they rose. Ian will get more comfortable overtime, IDK, lets see as time unfolds.

Tony Ferguson-esque, are the threads of @big franklin

I think Aljo vs O’Malley was closer, tbh

He dominated the entire fight. Whole reason Magney had one leg was because of Garry

in his UFC debut garry gets lit up by jordan williams till a sloppy counter came and rocked williams. two fights later ian garry gets dropped in the first round with a counter left hook from a non striker, songs wrestling is so shit garry recovers..... now talks about how he is the new elite striker....... when he getting lit up by fighters outside the top 15... he should be talking about how he recovers quickly instead of this elite level of striking that doesnt exist......
