I have read much about the battle between the moderate and progressive wings for the Democratic party, of late.

I have a crazy solution to decide who wins this battle.

We show up and vote for the candidate we support, and whoever gets more votes wins.

What do you guys think of this crazy idea?

Discuss........

Deep thoughts up in this bitch.

Sure with no BS CTs customized for the facts if your guy loses.

No need my man.

The only way they are stealing this from Bernie is at a contested convention, where no conspiracy theory would be needed if he clearly has the most delegates and votes, and the nomination is stolen from him.

That would just be fraud out in the open for everyone to see.

This historic event will need a name. How about the malcontent Olympics?

My idea is vote for Tulsi.

She's not perfect but she's better than Bernie, Warren, Buttplug and Creepy Joe.

At least America could be proud of a president like Tulsi. Could you imagine this guy negotiating with another world power?

Well vote for Tulsi as Bernie's VP in the general election, and you can actually have her as president in 2024.

It doesn't work that way because you are voting for the leader of the Democratic party and the nominee. Considering you could split the Democrats into 3 or 4 different parties now, there is no unity. I'm a Bernie/Tulsi/Yang guy. To me, they are the anti-establishment candidates with fresh ideas and the only ones not taking corporate money. If anyone else besides them gets the nomination, I'm staying home. I won't compromise my positions and vote Democrat for the sake of voting blue. I vote for candidates and ideas, not parties.

If anything, this was the perfect time to finally break the U.S. of its 2 party system and finally give us some legit 3rd party options. I can almost guarantee if Bernie was running as an independent or under a Democratic Socialist party, he'd have nearly the same support right now.

Problem is there are no moderate Democrat candidates to vote for.
I think Biden, Buttgieg and Klobuchar's politics are relatively reasonable (even if Biden is a swamp monster).

If Buttgieg wins the nomination I'll vote for him. Otherwise, I'm standing on the sidelines again.
