I have a solution for the battle between the moderate and progressive wing of the Democratic party.

Yeah Nancy Pelosi got punked. She looked like a doormat.

Maybe that is why she spiked his speech on the floor on national TV with Trump standing right there.

And Trump didn't do nuthin.
He didn't see it, and even if he did it was only an alcoholic old woman who has aged 20 years in the last 3 trying without success to remove Trump from office.

Yeah, but Trump still didn't do nuthin.

I had a thought on it too. went something like this;

We did that, and us rational people voted for hillary and the sanders loons flipped out and tried to sabotage her, screaming about the primaries and not showing up for the general

You guys could always move to Venezuela and show us all how awesome Socialism can be.

I think Bernie could really turn that place around.

I'll go with the candidate that makes corruption in Washington their top policy choice.

Trump's too busy being the president of the United States. She's too busy announcing him as the president of the United States.

No need my man.

The only way they are stealing this from Bernie is at a contested convention, where no conspiracy theory would be needed if he clearly has the most delegates and votes, and the nomination is stolen from him.

That would just be fraud out in the open for everyone to see.

So no CTs unless needed, got it.

you have 6 threads on the first page. no matter what your thoughts everyone hates you...

I have a slightly different idea. And mine has historical precedent.

I have read much about the battle between the moderate and progressive wings for the Democratic party, of late.

I have a crazy solution to decide who wins this battle.

We show up and vote for the candidate we support, and whoever gets more votes wins.

What do you guys think of this crazy idea?

Discuss........

Corporate dems need to unite the party and support Bernie now.

There needs to be 4 parties. The Republican party needs to split as well.

I like your idea, but who decides what counts as a vote ?

I remember the DNC screwing Sanders pretty hard in favor of Clinton last time.

Whose to say they won't pull some bullshit like stuffing ballot boxes or marking votes as invalid in favor of "their" preferred candidate ?

I think Biden, Buttgieg and Klobuchar's politics are relatively reasonable (even if Biden is a swamp monster).

If Buttgieg wins the nomination I'll vote for him. Otherwise, I'm standing on the sidelines again.
I don't trust Buttigieg either. He's on record for packing the Supreme Court and at least some form of Govt. takeover of our Health Care. He used to be all in on Govt. HC but realized it was more electable to say "medicare for all who need it". I just find that hard to believe. and I can't get behind anyone who thinks the Govt. is capable of running HC without corrupting it beyond recognition.

Quite honestly, I just wish we could go back to the HC we had before Obamacare came along and start over from there. I was paying $400.00 a month and getting great coverage. It's SO fucked up now I really can't even say I HAVE Insurance now even though I'm paying $3k a month for it.

My deductible is $12k. No way we'll ever cover that, so we basically pay cash for everything. So now I get the privilage of paying $3K a month for other people's kids to have Insurance while mine go without . No Thanks.

Well if Iowa is any indication the DNC will jump in at every controversy, take control of the process, blame the state party, then allow rampant miscalculations in official results.

This primary is a dog fight. Bernie is going to need to secure >50% of the delegates in order to get the nomination. No other candidate would need to do that. It is what it is.
