After that performance we have to start questioning if he has the greatest MMA wrestling ever not just among current fighters. There is no one in MMA in 2025 that wrestles better than Khamzat. Yeah Khabib was a technical wizard but I think Khamzat is more athletic.

Khabib had a gas tank for days but could be a bit plodding whereas Khamzat is more explosive.

As a natural athlete, Khamzat is better than khabib. Technically khabib is probably a better wrestler. From a mma wreck standpoint, both guys are at the peak of the summit in mma wrestling. And that is a problem for the mw division for the best 4 to 5 years or until Khamzat athleticism slows due to age. I don’t think anyone beats this guy for a long long time.

Yeah I would say Islam would be the only guy to compete as top mma wrestler and Khamzat is better. Got to say currently in 2025 Khamzat is the best mma wrestler.

I'll concede that Khabib was not as quick but Khabib's top game was absolutely dominating once he got the takedown.

Despite being much physically bigger, I think a WW khamzat would have been a very interesting matchup against a no weight cut khabib. But yeah, weight classes exist for a reason.

That’s bs. He got a ton of takedowns and rarely finishes the fight in the early rounds. If effective but nowhere as dominant as Khazmat. People get up from Khabib as well. They don’t get up from Khazmat.

Let’s put it this way if Mr Beast offered you 1 million dollars if you could survive on the ground vs Khazmat or Khabib… I sure you gonna pick Khabib.
