Having two WMMA fights on a PPV portion that cost like $95; 40% of the fights you get to watch for paying that amount. I've been broken to where I just accept that there will be one WMMA fights per most PPV main cards, but when they push it to two I can't avoid keyboard whining.

Agreed. But I think Belal is too good at executing his gameplan to a letter. Maybe JDM is better than I give him credit for and surprises everyone.

I would have been pumped for Belal vs Shavkat, but I'm a Belal fan so I'm still interested in this fight.

I'm definitely interested in Aldo vs Zahabi.

I WAS interested in Burns' fight, but I just noticed it was cancelled for some reason. That's a bummer.

I'll be hyped if JDM pulls it off. The UFC must be praying to the gods that JDM wins. That brings Islam up to welterweight, and then he vacates the title for big PPV matches at lightweight, with guys like Topuria and Paddy that could never beat Islam. And it gets rid of Belal, who the UFC seem to hate.

But I won't bet against Belal. I think he blankets.

Im always happy to see Belal fight, he is one of the few champions who beat all odds and became champion.
Him beating JDM and then fighting Shavkat later this year would be awesome

Belal has so many decisions I have no interest in watching him fight. 18 of his 24 wins are by decision. That being said, as an Aussie and a fan of fighting sports I would love to see Della Maddalena put him away. So in sum I am not particularly hyped but I hope Della Maddalena gets the W via KO.

JDM is a fraudulent contender with zero elite wins getting a title shot because the UFC greedily covets the Aussie market. Their whole slew of fraud contenders getting title shots like Volk, KKF, JDM, etc only water down divisions.


The rest of the card is all fluff,

I'm gonna be a contrarian here and look at the bright side. Plus I'm getting liquored up for this one after work which I'm trying to do less of. Here are my thoughts:

- Belal vs JDM is incredibly interesting but Belal could make it boring. If JDM dethrones him on his first title defense it would be a hell of a story
- Valentina vs Fiort is also a very close and interesting match up. I want to see if Val can reignite her second title reign or if Manon can rise to the occasion. I've been speculating this matchup for a while
- Aldo and Grasso may very well be my favorite male/female fighters in the sport. Nothing but support
- Exciting or interesting matchups/fighters: Mallot vs Radtke, Andrade vs Jasdivivius, Baukausus vs Cutelaba, Bauriault vs Silva, Katona
- A few fights I cant recall the fighters at all

I do get the gripe about BSD on the main card. Against a no named 0-2 ufc record. That is pure ass for how expensive ppvs are
