I think stacking Valentina as the co-main was not a good idea. Simply put, she's boring now. You put her on a card with someone exciting like Topuria.

I'd rather have Pena vs Harrison as the co-main for 315.

Then the other 3 main card PPV fights should be absolute violence, like Poirier vs Holloway. That shouldn't be headlining a PPV. That fight should be the #3 fight on a card like UFC 315.

They tank the numbers for this card in order to sacrifice Belal / further the public against him. If you were gonna give the public a shit card to begin with, why not make it even shittier to improve your position relative to a champion you want to cancel.

I'm fairly hyped -- I don't view Belal as an unbeatable champ but I am intrigued by the stylistic match up. I favor him to defeat JDM as I don't feel JDM has the anti-grappling to thwart Belal, but it will be hard for him to win without getting a finish in that he'll have to avoid bombs from JDM for 5 rounds.

Not hyped at all, it will be a walk in the park for mr. Decision. JDM isnt even a top 5 fighter. SD against a complete can in Hafez followed by a split decision over journeyman Kevin Holland.
JDM has no business being in there and it will show.

Everyone wanted Shavkat including the UFC, but I prefer the plan of finding a suitable replacement rather than the champ just waiting. So I'm good with Belal vs. JDM.

They should have given Buckley the title shot instead........... at least Buckley has more recent wins and would have been more intriguing . Right now it is not clear to me how good JDM is cause his best wins are a sparring match with Holland and a match against Burns where he was getting his ass kicked and won by a hail mary. Based on the Burns match it is hard to imagine JDM stands much of a chance against Belal so..........
