I have the belt squat. I like it. Yesterday I had some bumpers from BalanceFrom in my cart. Woke up today and they were no longer on sale. But Walmart had them cheaper anyway, so picked up some 10's and 25's for less than a 100.
Other than that, I bought some barefoot shoes and a banjo lol.

I guess I did end up making a gym purchase from the prime sale. Spent $200 on a JBL sound bar that will replace the small JBL bluetooth speaker I have been using. I'll still have shitty sound out of my TV from the stock speakers, but the gym room will have the soundbar mounted on the wall somewhere.

With Bluetooth Sub? those things do great for the size. Much easier to set up and move over a reciever and 5.1 or 7.1 .... or 9.2 if you're an addict.

Space is limited in that room so no extra sub. The bar itself is supposed to have pretty good bass, but if it sucks I’ll just send it back.

Would you guys offer your homegym to someone that lives close by?

There's a cop that moved in maybe 1 - 1/2 miles from my house. Young guy, been there 6 months or so. Always saw equipment on porch but never a person. Basic setup, squat rack/pull up bar , couple slam balls, TRX straps, jump rope, and a sand bag... we speak the same gym language. Have lately been seeing him putting work in between 3-5pm. It's the south, it's 100+ degrees with humidity. No shade, dead heat . Want to swing in and offer Sat & Sun open times, I'll leave garage doors up. But I've seen these movies. Come home from Lowes and the police gonna be smashing woman on my new bench. The end.

Yeah I did see those. My issue is that I still have to take it down to squat or bench. I am thinking about just moving to rings

Ring dips are great. They feel better than the bars.
Kept tossing ideas around how to screw a 3x3 to a wall and leave the dip mount in its own area off the rack

I only have two posts to play with and I don't know that I'd ever drop over $300 on that attachment. I ended up buying the wall hanger from rogue to keep their dip bar out of the way when I'm not using it. Still a hassle to wrangle the thing around, but at least it's not in the way of other shit now.

Have put less than minimal energy into searching 3x3 1" hole uprights . But 30 sec google search shows StrayDog will cut you one for $25 .

I'm thinking a 24" for moving handles up/down from inverted rows to dips would be good enough to bolt to a wall. Then its can just stay its place.

I know you aren't a Rogue fan, but this is something they have that's not insane on the price. 36 inches for $80 or 16 for $55. On their "3 ships free" sale so if you buy some other crap it could even out.

Offering open times in your garage is probably too much but next time you see him, why not invite him over for a man date to lift with you? You could have a new lifting partner and it's never a bad idea to make friends with local cops. The older I get, the harder it is to find other dudes who share the same hobbies to hang out with.
