The first sandbag I ever made was just a duffel bag from an army surplus store, filled with 4 x 20kg bags of sand.I've never used a sandbag, am I correct that you put smaller bags of sand in them rather than just pouring in loose sand? Or no? I'm wondering about the feasibility of changing the weight in one. My son is getting interested in training and wants to "get in really good shape" for fall ball tryouts, so having something we both could use would be cool.
The sandbags these days specifically made for lifting, you just pour the sand in.
How old is he?
