High Blood Pressure GTFIH

I often look at Apple News before I go to sleep and when I wake up. I must have seen an article that made it sound like pecans are a super nut saying something like it's the best nut for lowering cholesterol and has other nutrients. Tried to find the roasted pecans at Sam's Club and Costco. The only snack ones I found were praline pecans (which I'm assuming is some sort of candied pecan). I think they have the raw pecans intended for baking. I bought a small pouch of roasted pecans from Walmart and they taste and look like walnuts, which I think I read are also good for heart health.

1. Lose 10 lbs. Everyone can. Cut processed foods, salt, and sugar.
2. Buy Low salt V8 and drink 8 ounces a day. POTASSIUM cleans salt out of system.
3. Exercise every day.
4. Add healthy fats--Omega 3, Avocado, almonds, walnuts.
5. Probiotic Greek Plain yogurt.
6. Lots of water.
7. High Fiber and protein.

White coat syndrome... it's real
Same, mine is always way higher at the Doctor's office. I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled recently and they checked my BP and it was high. Something about being at a Doctor or Dentist makes me nervous.
There is a name for it. "White-Coat Hypertension"

That being said better to not take it lightly or shrug it off on your own.
What are you supposed to do?

Just not go to the hospital?

Cut carbs and start walking. Protein diet for awhile and at least start walking for exercise.

The other day I walked past Pizza Hut's sign for some sort of stuffed crust pizza and at the grocery store's bakery walked past some cheesecake and cake. Skipped both.

TS hasn’t posted since end of 2023

Hope you took your meds, brother
