High Blood Pressure GTFIH

I took a heart attack training 1 year and a half ago .Been on ramipril ever since 10 mils per day that's to lower the blood pressure .Bisoporol 5 mils to slow the heart rate plus an aspirin and statin every day .I have a 40 percent coronry artery blockage .Anything over 50 percent ill need a stent in my heart .Doctor said I must stop smoking .
 
The NHS is good I get a blister pack every week for free .Monday to Friday tablets all in a we blister pack .

I took all that in and prescribed myself some Dos Equis, because...I dont always have high blood pressure, but when i do there is no lack of salt.

Btw, im 6'3 230lbs...not completely a fat bastard....just cannot pass my DOT physical.

Amlodipine made my extremities swell up big time. It caused me to retain water biggly.

Same, mine is always way higher at the Doctor's office. I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled recently and they checked my BP and it was high. Something about being at a Doctor or Dentist makes me nervous.

I stopped drinking around 5 years ago partly due to BP also. I quit drinking soda over 10 years ago. These days I just drink water and coffee (once a day with caffeine and once a day decaf).
 
Garlic pills seems to helped lower my BP and fish oil pills. I also went from 192 lbs to 175 lbs for a manlet that is a lot of weight.

I recently read something about iron to help blood flow to help hair growth and am wondering if you load up on the nutrients responsible for transporting necessary stuff for red and white blood cells, would your blood pressure be lower since your heart doesn't need to work as hard to transport that stuff because you got more of it flowing.
 
Lisinopril is usually used in conjunction with hyrdochlorothiazide. If your lisinopril wasn't cut with it, it may not be that the med was wrong and needed to be changed, may be that you needed the water pill for the BP med to work correctly.

For context, when I turned myself in and was booking into the jail, my BP was 220/160. They made me go to the ER to take IVs, bc they couldn't legally book me, it was so high. When it got low enough they could book me, they sent me to medical and they put me on 10mg of lisinopril. That didn't do shit, and they kept upping the dose, eventuality to 40mg, which lowered it but not nearly enough. Finally doctor who just happened to be covering the regular doctor's shift, and who knew what he was doing and was making fun of the regular doctor for being a bad doctor, asked why I wasn't on hydrochlorothiazide. He put me on 12.5mg of that, and my BP went down to 120/80.

Moral is, some doctors are just ass
