I know some very casual MMA fans, mostly from work.

They all know who Jones is. A few still don't recognize Topuria, much less know he's a champ, and Islam is prob 50/50, maybe 75/25 now with more recognizing him than not.

Also, a LOT of those folks don't pay much attention to smaller classes, many only care if it's WW or greater. Weird bunch.

How that applies beyond that group idk, but I figure they aren't the only ones.
