From the article I provided he died when his head hit the pavement after being knocked out. The medical examiner only noted superficial injuries to his face.

No not really, they want to use military for guard duties to free up police that usually does that.
Sweden will not be using military on the streets I think Ådalen 1931 is still a sore memory.
Also use some military intelligence to analyse the criminals and their next movement.

The worst part of this is that Sweden and other countries let them in, opened their arms and took them and their families in (even though it mostly seems like it's men in the 20s/30s), and this is how they repay them. This is a classic case of play stupid games and win stupid prizes.

It sounds like was not a curb stomping but a fight the the kid with the gun started and ended with an accidental death.

What happens in a trial depends a lot on which jurors are randomly pulled from the pool. The prosecutor and defense attorneys can do a few swaps, and eject jurors if they look obviously biased during the interview (voir dire). However for the most part that initial roll of dice dictates the tone of the trial. From what we've seen in other cases, more women and more minorities on a jury = more misguided leniency towards the accused.

There has been talking about using the military for several years.
First it was SD now its S. ( government claims no talks about this with S)
But its always as support / logistic and guard duties, never on the streets, or out catching criminals.
Also I would have issue with 19 -20 years old conscripts running around with AK5 on the streets playing police.
