Not just violence but violence and abandonment, which as I mentioned before occur at even higher levels in black monoracial couples. We are not talking about a group of people looking to settle down and raise a family. We are talking about a group that has children out of wedlock, abuses the kids, abuses each other, and then they leave. It's a problem in monoracial black communities and its a problem with mixed couples. It needs to change and it needs to change at the level where its occurring, not across the board.

I wish there were! Again, I wish there were more biracial couples having kids in marriage, settling down and focusing on family. This would actually change the numbers and start fixing the problem.

I probably edited this post after you already quoted it. I added something at the bottom about particularly liking LI and you. I don't get any vibes from either one of you that make me think we wouldn't get along just fine. This forum is what it is, and arguing is going to be a big part of it. But I'd be happy to have either one of you as a neighbor, I have nothing personal against either of you at all. Frankly, I don't have anything personal against anybody on the forum, but there are certainly people I wouldn't want next door.

The bigger issue here is our tax dollars funding the murder of unarmed black people by the group sworn to protect them.

This guys troll job is terrible, but how outraged were you when you saw a man face down in the same manner for 8 minutes with full weight on his neck until he cried for his mother, went unconscious, pissed himself and died?

This photo is disgusting and this guy should be locked up for abusing that child, but this all started because a murder in broad day light, caught on film was not leading to even charges against the officer.

Do you see the difference? This guy was immediately charged. Meanwhile the police murder unarmed civilians (disproportionately black ones) and have a 97% chance of not even being charged with a crime and a 99% chance of never making it past the grand jury if they do get charged.

If the police who murdered and committed acts of brutality were getting charged and going to prison, there wouldnt be these protests nor would this picture exist.

Floyd was murdered by a police officer who has killed on the job before while 3 "good cops" stood around and let it happen.

The murderer wasn't even charged until there was a swelling of public outcry, which led to the protests.

Bringing up Floyds record to try to dehumanize him is disgusting.

That day, Floyd had done nothing to warrant being murdered by anyone, let alone a violent public servant whose co-workers knew had issues and said nothing.

Thats the problem with policing right now. The few vicious psychopaths in each department is not the problem. The problem is the 99% of officers who see the vicious psychopaths and say nothing. And when it comes time to file the police report, even with video, they all get together and lie to keep the vicious out of jail.

So when people say there are so few bad cops....yeah, we get it.....but how many of the "good cops" dont report the maniacs and then lie to cover up their crimes so they can get another chance to needlessly maim or kill.

The thin blue line is becoming more of a skid mark on the credibility of the state.
