A carjacker who left his victim partially blind after hitting her across the head with a hammer has been jailed for nine years.

Majid Ali, 18, repeatedly struck Blythe Mason-Boyle across the head before taking her Audi A1 from Coventry Road, Sheldon, Birmingham, in March last year.

The 24-year-old was left with permanent sight damage in an attack described by police as “ferocious”.

She suffered cuts to her face and a fractured eye socket shortly after leaving a gym.

Do they allow like mace or taser stun guns at least? my cousin used it before on some homeless due who was getting aggressive he grabbed her arm hard and she sprayed it in his eyes and he was rolling on the ground seems to be very effective, some times those stun guns fail when people are drugged up the pepper spay will temporary cause blurred vision
