Has Jon Jones grown on you?

No and I doubt he ever will. His personally type is not my cup of tea at all. Hes a fantastic fighter though.

Some of it is that it's kind of funny to watch people get so worked up about a person that, in all likelihood, they will never interact with for more than a few minutes, especially when that person's words and actions will likely never have any discernible influence on their lives.

But, I'm always (usually) a fan of the fighter first and everything else second, and I'm guessing that's the way most of Jones' fans are.
 
I love me some JBJ, I used to hate on him thought he was a flash in the pan, hypetrain to the max, BUT he does destroy everyone the UFC puts in front of him, dude is an amazing athlete and hasn't even hit his stride yet, which is scary he'll be champ for a min
 
I became a fan of his fighting skills and styles after his performance against Shogun. He was like the Mozart of MMA.

the first fight I saw of him I wanted him to lose every fight after that I was a fan

Oddly enough, I became a 'believer' during the Hamill fight..

I actually forgot about him until now. I only followed LHW for Liddell and Rampage so I don't really care about the state of the division. I never got into the Machida or Evans hype and while Shogun was a badass in PRIDE I never really got into his UFC run.

LW and HW are where the real fights are at.
 
Yes. His talent and ability is just undeniable, so I decided to grow up about it and recognize greatness. Turning off the hate machine opens you/me to positive traits and a more balanced opinion. I doubt I'll ever be a huge fan, but he's grown on me.

I'm the same, I don't plan on becoming his friend and I love watching him beat the shit out of people while sherdog gets butthurt over every fight of his.

I don't hate anyone, its a waste of emotions
