Who won?

I still don't understand how Dave Moretti round 10 to Haney. He gave a 10-10 to Tank after he knocked down Ryan.

Saying that the fighter you feel probably should've gotten the nod in a close fight versus calling it a robbery are two different things. If it's possible that Haney won 7 rounds, which it is, then by definition it's not the latter. Like I said before, clearly the fight result was an unpopular decision but not all unpopular decisions are robberies. It usually needs to be fairly egregious to be labeled that.

It was a robbery/done a great fighter dirty/words to that effect - garcia (trainer), shakur Stevenson, coldwell (trainer), keyshawn Davis, linares, mora, robeisy ramirez, de la hoya

Loma should have won - reynoso (trainer), vargas, prograis, hitchins, garcia, ortiz

I thought moretti gave that round 10-10 despite davis knocking down garcia...

lomachenko and haney were pretty even goin into the 10th. i think most can agree it could have been a draw up to then...

but it's dead clear lomachenko took the championship rounds.

lomachenko won that fight.
Haney clearly won round 12 and Loma clearly won round 11. Those were probably the easiest rounds to score in the fight.

Desperate for Loma to win but I had it a draw. 115-113 either way would be acceptable score cards in my view.

Haney won the 12th pretty clearly.

I had it 115-113 Haney but a draw or 115-113 Loma would be OK.

Lots of close rounds but I thought Haney’s bodywork was the differentiator, both for scoring rounds and for emptying Loma’s tank.

can’t give championship rounds away when you’re the challenger

rookie mistake from a vet

I think that’s bullshit. Haneys bodyshots clearly sapped him and he punched himself out with those onslaughts in the 10th and 11th.

What a dumb ass, if true. In both of Loma's biggest losses, he's blown it by trying to coast, either early like agains Lopez or late like last night. lol at saying this guy has a great boxing brain and then listening to him say things like this.

I think Loma won 7 rounds: 1, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11.

I gave him 5 of the last 6 rounds.

It was an agonizingly close fight, but I thought Loma was ahead by two rounds.

If this is the end, it's such a heartbreaking way to end his career. He thought he won, most of the fans and media pundits thought he won, but he leaves empty handed with no way of ever fighting for a unification belt again.

Credit to Haney - he fought a really good fight, and at 24, he showed excellent composure. I think he was picked to get the nod because he is part of the "four kings" that will be the future of lightweight boxing. Davis, Shakur, Garcia and Haney. I would take Davis and Shakur over Haney at this point.

Fans think every decision is corrupt. It really doesn't matter, every single big fight, there's a bunch of people who whine about the decision and how they hate boxing etc.
And this is why Jake Paul is the biggest star in that joke of a sport.

Even Slapfighting and bareknuckle are better choices for the spectators at this point

7-5 Haney

Or

6-6 Draw

I really wanted Loma to win round 12 but Haney dug deep and won that with the body work. Loma had Haney more hurt than vice versa, and he also pushed the pace late which gave the optics of a win but Loma had no answer for that body work. I'll rewatch it this week but at the time I was thinking if Loma can win round twelve, he can get a draw. Loma definitely lost three of the first four though.

When Bud Crawford, who is Haney's mentor, gives a wishy washy answer and concedes Loma may have won, you know the decision wasn't great.

Fight Nation and Ellie Secback have put together compilations of boxers and pundits asking them who won the fight, and almost universally the answer is Loma. Robert Garcia and Delahoya seemed downright angry that it was a robbery (which I don't agree with, it was a close fight that could have gone either way).
