6-6 or Haney because of the 12th

Loma blew it. Can’t give rounds away when your challenger. Let Haney off the hook in rounds 10 and 11 when he had him hurt and lost the 12th easily.

Great fight that both fighters deserve credit.

Loma outlanded Haney
Landed the best punches and had Haney doing the chicken dance a few times.
-None of that changes the score of each individual round though.
-Out landing somebody with a known flawed metric doesn't = a win.
-The best punches only matter if they were better than Haney's in that individual round. Multiple good shots in one round still only count towards that round.
-Ok he "chicken danced" in one round. Its still was only one round. Doesn't negate the other 11. One 10-9 round is not enough to win an entire fight. Lol

Competitive fight that I think Loma won. 7-5ish.

I'd also like to point out that Devin seems to get wobbled and hurt every fight he's in. Loma had points where it looked like he could put Devin down, but it inevitably didn't happen.

But there's a man named Tank who I think would be the catalyst to that little situation.

Interestingly most media and pros before the fight thought haney would win and even win handily but the vast majority seem to think lomachenko deserved the win...

Can you post the data you are using to come up with that? Any real #s??? Or are you making that up? Seeing lots of fighters saying close fight could have gone either way.

That would be great if boxing matches were won by counting punches. Look at round 12. No way could you say Loma won round 12 but according to compubox he landed more.

The correct result could be that 12th round was a draw then?

I gave the early rounds to Haney and late rounds to Loma. It was a very close fight, slight edge to Loma landing the more solid punches. But if your the contender, you should never leave it to the judges. They usually lean towards the champion when it's a close fight like that.

Respect to both fighters, the both fought a hell of a fight.

Boxing politics. Boxing had more to gain from a 24 year old beating a 35 year old than the other way around.

That was a clear easy decision for Loma. I joked with people saying ‘watch they will give it to Haney’.. And when we all heard the decision we couldn’t believe that they actually robbed Loma like that smh. That decision should be appealed

One thing is for sure: all the smug guys on here who predicted an easy win for Haney and pretended not to care about the fight were wrong and are now left arguing a razor-close decision.

I scored it 7-5 Haney live and wouldn’t cry if Loma had been declared the winner.

As for answering the thread title (ie « Who won the fight ? ») Haney won it via UD.

You had he unusual situation too of the home crowd in attendance booing the undisputed champion winning In his own country.
yea, it was odd. nobody was saying it was a robbery though. i had loma 115-113. not sure how one judge gave the 10th to haney

lomachenko and haney were pretty even goin into the 10th. i think most can agree it could have been a draw up to then...

but it's dead clear lomachenko took the championship rounds.

lomachenko won that fight.
