Robert Garcia is calling this a robbery? He usually doesn't jump the gun but he did here.
Lomachenko certainly won quite a few rounds, especially in the second half of the fight. If anything he switched to second gear a bit late. Again.

That's news to me. I've only seen or heard one respected trainer (or fighter for that matter) call this a robbery and that's Robert Garcia just now. However, it's not like all unpopular decisions are robberies. Especially not when the fight was legitimately close and this one was.Not just garcia. There are many trainers and pros who are saying it is a robbery including even ortiz who had thought that haney would win before the fight - it seems to be the great majoroty of viewpoints so far. Even those who don't say lomachenko won like Jeff mayweather and zab judah who are supporting haney are saying it was a really close fight.
It is interesting also that currently about 76 per cent of sherdoggers posting on this thread think lomachenko won.
Reynoso and vargas sr. as well in terms of trainers. That's news to me. Still, even in tbe 12th round did haney really outland him?
I know Reynoso had Loma by 2 points but I didn't hear him use the word robbery. Either way, this wasn't a robbery. The only issue I have was with the 116-112 card for Haney and Moretti scoring the 10th round for him which was a crystal clear Loma round.Reynoso and vargas sr. as well in terms of trainers.
Stevenson, ortiz, linares, vargas jr, prograis, keyshawn are among the pros who have said lomachenkp clearly won or even used the word robbery to describe it...
That article proves exactly what I said even with that pathetically small sample size.
That would be great if boxing matches were won by counting punches. Look at round 12. No way could you say Loma won round 12 but according to compubox he landed more.
Lmfao which "experts" are you referring to?So according to some "experts" here, Loma is an overrated one dimensional fighter. Yet an aging Loma outlanded the bigger undisputed champ, wobbled him, and won in the eyes of a lot of fans and professional boxers?
Gotta love these sherdog experts

Dude, I literally just checked ESPN and Haney won lol
did u mean to ask, “who you ‘think’ won the fight?”

Saying that the fighter you feel probably should've gotten the nod in a close fight versus calling it a robbery are two different things. If it's possible that Haney won 7 rounds, which it is, then by definition it's not the latter. Like I said before, clearly the fight result was an unpopular decision but not all unpopular decisions are robberies. It usually needs to be fairly egregious to be labeled that.Does he have to use the exact word robbery? Isn't saying that lomachenko actually won sufficient?

That article does not prove "most fighters thought it was a robbery"Why do u think the article proves what u say? And of course its a small sample size - it has only been hours since the fight and most of those people interviewed had attended the fight...but that doesn't invalidate what they say...

Well politics does equal corruption so
