"I didn't kill that guy I just removed him from this plane of existence."
You understand that's a hyperbolic breakdown and not at all representative of whats being discussed, right?

"It's not genocide it's external and internal displacement"

It absolutley is represenative.

Unrelated are you a descendant of British nobles?

Wtf, dude. Killing people and displacing them are not the same thing.

Sharon wasn’t PM at the onset of the intifada.
His provocation was during the ongoing negotiations while Barak was still premier (Sept 2000).

The breakdown of the negotiations was Dec 2000/January 2001. Arafat walked away during a tense and already violent period which ultimately led to a worsening of violence. This caused the breakdown of the Israeli government in March 2001, forcing elections in which Sharon was elected.

Anyway, that was the best deal Palestinians were ever offered and it was certainly a missed opportunity.

That's correct, Sharon was leader of Likud at the time and I'm suggesting that his visit to the Temple Mount and indirectly sabotaging the peace talks were Likud's intentions all along leading to his election win. And yes, there's been a lot of missed opportunities these past 80 years, it's a tragedy that it hasn't happened yet.

Definitely didn’t help.
I certainly see Arafat as holding more responsibility than the Israeli opposition leader at the time.

Though, Israel’s right has also shown to what extent they are willing to act in order to sabotage a diplomatic solution. (Thanks Yigal)

The dialogue around Palestinian political failures is often tainted by circumstance and outside forces. At what point can you hold their leadership accountable without endless finger pointing? (I am asking rhetorically)

Once again...

The people of Palestine elected Hamas to lead them.
Not true. The majority of the gaza strip population wasn't even born when hamas was elected in 2006. There has been no elections since. This argument is gaslighting to enable collective punishment.

Then why is Hamas more popular than Fatah in the West Bank today?

That is up to them.

It's very arrogant to assume Israel are the only party that can create change.

Everyone needs to get round the table.
no, it was up to them. now it's not up to them. they lost that control on 10/7. it's not something you now negotiate. who would even be at that table?

No? How about some Palestinians that are not terrorists?
And who would that be? Any Palestinian party that stands up for freedom, sovereignty and liberties will be called and turned into a terrorist by isreal’s war and propaganda machine and anyone that wants to negotiate with Israel will be deemed a traitor by the locals and the anti Jewish propaganda machine on the other side.

The reason I find your take on Palestinians irrational is cause at times of war no one cares what party you voted, liked or hated you fight for your nation or land. It’s a pretty retarded take, and Israel is running out of retarded narratives to sell to justify this mass ethnic cleansing drive. How do the UN votes look? How many countries bought Israel’s justifications to continue this war or genocide?

can you first tell us if you still stand by your claim that the whole population of gaza needs to be displaced at some point? Or still evading it ?

It's crazy that everything pro-israeli posters accusd Palestinians of doing, it's in reality Israelis that do it. What if we had video of Palestinians calling for murderous spree like that and taking pride in murder. Another video that will be ignored in this thread of course, like the one I posted today of israeli children being taught genocidal tendencies in israeli religious schools. Not one answer not one quote. we know why

I mean I asked you. Who should the Palestinians support besides Hamas?

Are you admitting that all Palestinians are terrorists here?

They will tell you that Palestinians need to protest "non violently". Like isral has the "mowing the lawn" doctrine that states they must attack and kill as many Palestinians as possible every two years or so, and that's what they did : operation cast lead 2008-2009, operations returning echo and pillar of defense 2012, operation protective edge 2014, shooting and murder of peaceful protesters in the march of return 2018-2019. they killed thousands in all those years.

but if Palestinians dare to raise arms they're automatically systematically indubitably terrorists. They should do hunger strikes instead that would change everything for sure (sic)

They haven't had any control over he situation at any point in their lives.

Unlike Israelis, who constantly vote in corrupt extremists.

Israel must realise it's own position, and a good place to start is binning off Netanyahu, a threat to world peace, and letting Palestine come to the table now that Hamas is weakened.
