Given its an existential threat, Hamas probably has all hands on deck and they're all being activated, not spared. They don't wear uniforms and they don't differentiate Hamas deaths from the civilian total. So you wont' know either way.

If you're legit attacking Hamas, you're going to have an overlap of terrorist teenagers among the rubble.

well everyone is arguing about ratios - this affects the ratios. The point is, we don't know about the ratios as we don't have reliable info because it's either controlled by Hamas or by Israel. We don't have individual strike analysis, just ambiguous totals and clips online. That's why the US involvement is so important and why they need to be a responsible actor - its bombs, its ally, its use of power at the UN to shield them. Given how paralysed the world is to help due to the US, they need to really vet this stuff to give assurance.

I believe in a jewish state, prefer it were somewhere less contentious, but that horse left the barn years ago. So, I recognise the Israeli state where it is. Less commited on the territorial map, leave it to ths parties to figure out.

I agree. I also theoretically support a two state solution. Unfortunately that seems unrealistic in the near future. Indefinite occupation is also not really tenable or moral.
