Does Mandy Patinkin have a valid point?

What I see now is that non of the Pro-Pali crowd is celebrating the end of the war, like really nobody.

Its what I said at the very beginning, the Pro-Pali crowd is the worst enemy of the people in Gaza because the predominant porition of them is not really interessted in those people per se, they are interested in their perverted idea of Islam standing its ground in the middle east and not letting any other Religion have their territory there. It makes my stomach sick how those people are, but well, it is as it is. Most are now sitting angry at home and hating that the war just ended instead of some kind of global muslim brotherhood alliance going all in against israel, sending brothers and sisters over who will make the "from the river to the sea" reality.

I read that the leaders of the UK & France are going to Egypt for the ceasefire talks aswell.
Goddamn do they deserve to be embarassed for their failure in recent months.
Not a huge fan of Trump, but if he calls them out on their recent bitch moves he earns some kudos.
Seat them at a kids table or something.

Israel got the memo a long time ago, the only thing those extremists understand is strength.

And personally i do suspect that that single strike on Qatar had more of an impact than it seemed.
Perhaps it helped to burst some bubbles about perceived immunity/safety.

The final paragraph is a great point and I definitely think you're right.

Remember when this thing started and all of the usual cynics asserted it was impossible for Israel to win a war?

Not only have they secured all remaining living hostages, but more eyebrow raising is that Phase 2 of the ceasefire agreement calls for Hamas to demobilize and demilitarize. They are explicitly required to disarm. Uh...that's surrender. They tapped out. Waved the white flag. No mas, Netanyahu, no mas.

Additionally, after the provisional government period, ultimately, while Macron and the French yapped about getting power handed over to the Palestinian Authority (to "isolate Hamas") without any plan on how to achieve that...Trump's administration actually did it. That's who will ultimately take over in Gaza.

LOL, I love seeing the same people be wrong over and over and over again without ever witnessing them evolve their opinions.

Finally... Palestine will be free... Of Hamas.

yet another spectacularly embarrassing failure of the democratic party. if the peace deal holds, all credit to trump, but this comes across more as a "bend the knee, palestine, and we'll stop killing you" rather than an emancipation of any kind.

there will be another "hamas" known by a different name in 20 years when all these children whose families, homes, and neighbors were obliterated by hellfire grow up.

And the new Hamas will start a war, and Israel will kill Palestinians in a 50-to-1 ratio, new Hamas surrenders...

And 20 years later a new Hamas will start a war...

Hamas already said they wont disarm, so its Bibi who said No mas and tapped out

israel are the expansionist encroaching party here. hard to call it terrorism when you're fighting foreign invaders. you of course already know that.

Honest question - Why did you join the 'Rage Against The SHIFT Key' club?

There only two WR posters in it.
You and @idrankyourbeer

Is this true?

Yup... more militia action
  • Who was MrFAFO? Saleh al-Jafarawi was a Palestinian citizen journalist and social media content creator from Gaza who gained significant recognition for his frontline video reporting during the 2023–2025 Gaza war. He was derogatorily nicknamed "MrFAFO" by some Israeli media and critics—an acronym for "F*** Around and Find Out"—due to his sometimes performative style in his videos.
  • The Death: Al-Jafarawi was reportedly shot and killed in Gaza City on October 12, 2025, amid armed clashes. Reports from sources like Al Jazeera and Haaretz indicate he was killed by members of a local militia, specifically the Doghmosh clan, during fighting with Hamas.

Palestinian Journalist Saleh al-Jafarawi Killed in Fighting Between Hamas and Local Militia in Gaza City

A senior source in the Gaza Strip's Interior Ministry told Al Jazeera that several Hamas operatives were killed in a surprise attack by the Doghmush clan militia

Journalist and social activist Saleh al-Jafarawi, a well-known social media personality in Gaza, was killed during the exchange of fire. According to reports, al-Jafarawi was killed while covering the events.

While I'm not a fan of Pres. Trump, I must give credit where it is due. I'm glad that he used the power of the office to facilitate this cease-fire and return of the hostages.

Things feel vaguely positive right now but are Hamas going to get normal jobs? Of course not. And those funding them aren't going to send them money to do nothing. It feels like this ceasefire sadly will return to the normal quite soon once Hamas have time to regroup and refuel. Wouldn't be surprised to see the rockets fly into Israel within a week or two unless Iran and the leaders in Qatar have been sufficiently spooked to finally just let it go.
