Time and circumstance shapes culture and belief, Norse has ice gods, Egyptians have sun gods, people around the equator practice polygamy, away from it monogamy, and places with a lot of food serial monogamy. We view their gods through our eyes with our modern scientific ideas, I wonder how they saw it. To us the sun is powered by fusion, but to them I don't know.
