@INeedARemedy

I think the painful to watch deep throws by Love were not an arm strenght issue, for some reason he just floated them on purpose. Obviously he corrected that. Otherwise he made insane throws all season, he just added the deep ones eventually. :)

No hate for Sam Monson, these guys are paid to judge drafts as they happen and we all hated that they didn't go WR. His stuff with Andy Herman every week this season was great.

Seems like Enagbare got injured badly, which sucks. :( Good rotational Edge for sure. Hope it's not something that takes him out for like 6-9 months.

It's crazy that people talked about Doubs being expendable the past few weeks, that is how fucking deep that WR group is! Heath not even on the roster today and that guy is also quite solid!

Happy for the young team and everyone of the Packer fam here. :)Cheers! :D

Gary really needs a big game performance next weekend. Would be even better if Van Ness had a legit breakout game too.

Ugh, I just want them to beat the Niners so bad in the playoffs, lol.

Yeah agreed. I took the Enagbare injury hard in the moment, i was like wtf?! This guy plays his ass off. Like LaFleur saud, tough to hear it. I will say.... opens up the door for Cox, who maybe could do some things? We'll see.

And anybody who said Doubs was expendable, I'll say it right now, and i would've said it at any point this season: go fuck your mother. There's some jerkoff in sports media that's been trying to say that he isn't good all season, and I've been down to fight him all season because he's a fuckin idiot and it pissed me off. The guy's GOOD. Sure he isn't as explosive as Reed, and doesn't have the eyeball-popping ability as Wicks, but i trust him when it matters because his ability to come through is legitimate.

People talk a bunch of bullshit but Love and Doubs had a connection, and you could see it when Love came in for mop up duty in his very first snaps in the NFL. Dummies didn't know because they didn't watch, even though that's their job. Guy's a baller and incredibly important to this team.

I bought two jerseys at the start of the year. Doubs and Love. Doubs just feels like he’s clutch every game.

It will be hard to replace him for sure, like I said just hoping it's not a really career altering 6-9 month injury. Cox is rather light IIRC, I assume LVN just gets a lot of snaps.

Yeah Doubs is probably as good as you can get without having that superstar ability. A lot of teams would love to have that kind of WR as #2, Packers look to have even better ones. But there's always injuries, he obviously has that Love connection etc. Draft people will always look at WRs, but it makes no sense. Packers got their guys, continue to develop them!

Glad the days of having one legit pass catcher is over. This receiving group reminds me of the early days of the 09 - 2013 group. I remember Rodgers saying he didn't have a go to target back in 2011. It was whoever was open. It's the same thing now for Love and this group.

Listening to Andy Herman right now, and he remembered that we were legit talking about going 3-9 earlier in the season and having a shot at a Top 5 draft pick. And this stuff wasn't hyperbole at all, the team looked super dysfunctional on offense and obviously Joey B can have an all time embarrassing game at any given time. It's not just Love who improved, though he is obviously the most important player as QB. The WRs improved massively, Tucker Kraft had an insane development curve this season, O-Line started to click and they have another absolute stud in Zach Tom.

This improvement also happened without Watson, Aaron Jones and Luke Musgrave, so getting them back really, really put that offense over the top.

As for Love, obviously the playcalling by LaFleur (who also was questioned by everyone, but deserves all the credit) and the improvement of the supporting cast helps, but he also just does a ton of stuff right. That's why I don't think that he will regress again generally (current run is obviously not sustainable over the whole career lol). He changes plays, protections, reads the defense, catches the defense off guard, decision making...all the mental stuff that other great QBs have, he's got it. Add to that the great, great amount of arm talent, still a young age, fresh legs, confidence, never gets rattled etc. and you simply have a great QB on your hands.

49ers might be the end this season, but this team is JUST GETTING STARTED :D

Was Joe Barry just trolling the NFL with his defensive schemes before and was waiting for the playoffs to start covering receivers? What has made the big change in the defense?

A very noticeable difference between McCarthy and LaFleur is that McCarthy expects offensive linemen to handle pass rushers on their own. For years I questioned why not have tight ends and receivers chip a defender before hitting their pass routes. LaFleur has them chip and uses it as part of the pass route. Sometimes all a player needs is to know which way the defender is going to go and that chip can influence which direction they go.

Wow, the pack beat down the Cowboys something fierce. The looked scary good, and they are the youngest team in the league. Yikes!

Now all my hopes lie in the hands of the 49ers.

In the words of former 49ers Jimmy G and Robbie Gould, "F*** the Packers!".

I'm picking the Packers to beat the Niners. I don't know why either. I have no quippy retorts like "Oh, I got a couple pages of the script in the mail this morning" or Love will do what both Favre and Rodgers couldn't: simultaneously own both the Niners and the Cowboys. The only thing I can really lean on is maybe it's time for LaFluer to get a legit win over his buddy Shanahan? Now he already got one over him in the week 3 regular season meeting in 2021 (GB beat San Fran in 2020, but that team was decimated with injuries). But in the playoffs he sits at 0 - 2 against him.

I try and not make homer picks because then I just set myself for disappointment, but this is the most homer pick I have made in a long ass time.

Pack 27 Niners 20.
