I could see Val fighting really conservatively and losing a decision. She lost the first round to Grasso.

I either Val is just slowing down and the girls are catching. She's still very good but she doesn't look like an assassin anymore. She can beat Grasso if she does straight wrestling but Grasso was holding her own on the feet and if Val is afraid to throw any spinning moves, that cuts down her output even more.

Not a Peña moment from what I witnessed. Grasso looked like she belongs. Great boxing, better than some dudes in the UFC. Grasso lit Shev up at least twice with some searing punches. Tough to box so well and defend TD at the same time. She made Shevchenko tired keeping up with her pace. Was able to fight back up to her feet after that first big TD from Shev. Capitalized on Shev's poorly timed kick, showing great fight IQ. This was a great performance. I expect she'll only get better. It was a good and proper win, and I would go as far as to say Shevchenko does not deserve an instant rematch.
