You are right about the lactose intolerance. I was talking about how that brand of whey isolate would be marketed to women. From what Trabaho posted; it just seems like it is regular isolate with few additives. I guess they can market it as gluten free too.Isolate is better if you’re lactose intolerant, hence the gassy bloated stuff. That’s the main reason to get it (because it’s low lactose). Which like with other low lactose / no lactose products you shave some calories off and get more protein per gram.
Protein powder in general is a shady business especially in America. Some brands spike the protein with amino acids. It seems like a good thing but they are just giving less protein powder and adding cheap amino acids as filler. Something that is listed as 30 grams of protein might be only 15g of actual protein. Even something like creatine is added as filler because it is made from 3 different amino acids. That fem protein powder just seemed like whey isolate with very little additives.
TLDR the fem protein powder is just isolate that doesn't have much additives and it comes in fruity flavors that females like. The packaging is also pink.
