Gonna go ahead and post a picture of myself and my business card.

lolol everytime he talks about that 315 for 11 reps. You always shut him down. GJ for keeping him honest.

It is what it is. He can try and defend it, but he waited two months to pop it up for a reason.
He probably was good for 3-5 easily at that weight actually hitting depth. Just do that instead.

It was to depth. I’m smart. I know better.
It wasn't. Your front squats are just to depth because of your structure. Your back squats are clearly higher than that and you never stand fully up.

Own it. Do proper reps and stop trying to pretend you are able to do things you can't. You have had a good squat in the past. Just do that version instead and accept the lower weight. It's the only way you will progress.

ATG is total bullshit crutch that most people use. Here is a video of me filmed on a potato front squatting when I very first got into lifting. ATG was all of the rage. All that it did was hold me back. Going deep for the sake of "ATG brah" is ridiculous. Do you really think I should take all front squats that deep because I can? I'll still catch some snatches ridiculously low, but other than that, it has zero use and keeps lbs off of the bar.

I hate people who can squat well. I am gonna work on beating you in zercher squats. So I can use my torso strength. Back squats are the hardest excercise for me. Close to deadlifts.

bruh squats, back squats in particular are maybe the best exercise. and you can't do your bodyweight. that's a weakness

that's like being a boxer and saying you can't jab

it's foundational bro you should build that up

part of lifting is doing what's uncomfortable and becoming used to doing what's not fun to improve imo

I do agree. If you got a weakness just keep doing it more often till it becomes strong.

yea I don't think you have to be a super squatter but you should have the tech and proficiency to do at least your bw

and it is probably your best bang for your back exercise your can do
I'm upper body dominant. Leg strength is worth it. I mean my lower half is fat but not that strong as it could be.
