Global epidemic Coronavirus blamed on Bat Soup

I am surprised no one on the 1st page has said "Different Culture Hard to Judge"

Back on topic:
Some things I will never understand even if I have an eternity; like the eating habits of the Chinese.

I was in Seoul for a layover last year and as I was in a cab on the way back to the train station caught a slight glimpse of a shop with puppies in tanks. I'm so glad I didn't have to walk past it. I don't know if it was a pet store or a grocery story.

Puppies in tanks? This shit tripped me out when I saw it too lol

Thankfuly they are just regular pet stores. You ain't going to find places that sells dog meat in plain sight mainly because even koreans are disgusted by it. Eating dog is a dying culture that is only practiced by boomers and walking corpses because they don't know any better.

I had a friend who worked in Beijing for close to 8 months. He said within the first two months, he thought about killing himself(said it as a joke) but was pretty much disgusted with everything. People bumping into you without apologizing, the air quality, and he said he basically turned into a vegetarian since he didn’t trust any of the meats from the market or restaurants.

And he’s not the only one that I’ve known that has gone to China and said they’ll never return.
When I was in Cambodia on vacation, our tour guide who grew comfortable with us because we had him for a few days , candidly mentioned that neither he nor other Cambodians could stand the Chinese tourists. He said they were obnoxious, loud , disrespected the locals and showed no consideration at all for other people. He thought they acted like that because of China's recent economic rise. He didn't have any negative things to say about Koreans, Japanese, Taiwanese, Europeans, Americans , Aussies or anyone else.

Chinese's public behavior and attitude are disgusting. One time I was in this office elevator with 2 Chinese men and they were just spitting casually inside the fckn elevator... fcked up people

Gotcha. That's a relief. haha. I imagined the worst. On the layover on the way back I was quite conscious of it and made sure I didn't eat anywhere back street.

At least they were courteous enough to wait for you to get out before squatting and shitting in the elevator.

Not even close to a global epidemic.

Wrong.

It came from eating wild dog.

The news here is 24-7 coronavirus

Locals in Shanghai all all cooped up now, out of towners trying to get in because the hospitals are better here.

Some have the virus and drown themselves to Mongolia and Shenzhen.

Really scary
How widespread is it really? Do they have a count on fatalities? Do they have any projections on future fatalities?

China won’t reveal any real stats (just like they don’t say how many murders happen per year). It’s been said it’s very wide spread and that in wuhan alone 300,000 have been infected.

The biggest talking point now is people are beginning to doubt it only kills old/sick people, stories of kids having it and being left at airports isn’t uncommon.

Everyone I know has got themselves bunkered down and just trying to live life indoors for the moment.

I work out at two gyms. One is the Edinburgh University gym, and the other, Elysium, is a private gym specialising in Powerlifting, Strongman etc.

There are hundreds of Chinese students at Edinburgh Uni, and a lot of them use the gym. So I'll be training at Elysium for the foreseeable future.
<mma4> , no half/half curry sauce for me for the foreseeable future, it'll have to be doner kebabs or pizza:)
