I live in the US and have visited the Philippines, didn’t leave the Beijing airport but I’m glad I didn’t because the workers and people there were beyond awful.

Was in a small city in the Philippines and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary besides the terrible central market. I wandered down to the basement of the place and it was a meat market with no refrigeration, blood all over the ground.

Can’t even imagine what they have in China considering they are selling any and every animal you can imagine.

And I ate the street food including balut. Comparing that to a whole bat in some soup is just ridiculous.

I work out at two gyms. One is the Edinburgh University gym, and the other, Elysium, is a private gym specialising in Powerlifting, Strongman etc.

There are hundreds of Chinese students at Edinburgh Uni, and a lot of them use the gym. So I'll be training at Elysium for the foreseeable future.

Some parts of China, yes. You would never be able to pay me enough to live in a coastal city in China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Wuhan, or cities like that. That entire eastern and southern coastal region. Fuck that. Where I lived for a more than a decade in Kunming, the air pollution was actually less than my hometown of Calgary. Never wore a mask once and I could look up and see blue sky rather than that smog shit in the eastern shithole cities like those I listed. But yeah air pollution sucks. There’s also about a billion more people there and factories producing goods for guess who......the US.
