"Give an A+ athlete 6 months"

I guess you didn't see the punch that Manny Machado (Baltimore Orioles) through last night.

Machida is wishing he had that kind of hand speed and power.

Machado > Machida all day long! Oh, and lead off hitters aren't suppose to be the powerful guys in the batting order.
And sure he can go more than one round because he has stamina like Machida . . .

Barbarena won against Sage.

No.
You didn't understand what I typed nor do you understand odds or probability

Connor is an outlier in mma he is one single person whos financial success is based on his ability to talk not his skill. Again I stress the word one person in a sport where the average income is in the thousands

Those are abysmal odds if a high level athlete or any rational minded person is pursuing financial success or stability

a high level athlete will climb to the top where noone makes thousands. they make millions at the top. this isn't hard to follow. the odds aren't abysmal. they're pretty high. right?

Several times. What does that have to do with Overeem reacting poorly to being hit hard?

it means he reacts a million times better than you and anyone you've ever sparred with. and certainly better than he did when he first started.

Which doesn't have anything to do with the discussion at hand.

Isn't this more true at MW and above?

I feel like at WW and below even if you're a super athletic guy you're not gonna make the NFL/NBA if you're 5"9 180lbs.

I remember reading this a while back.

Those were amateur matches... i.e a legit 6'10 athlete fighting Bubba out the backwoods and Tuna Can from back alley.

Some don't quite appreciate what it actually takes to be a UFC champion...

I guarantee its far more than some vert and a cute Karate Kid black belt lol.
This dude's right. Been to several amateur events, and most amateur heavyweights are flat out pathetic. For every one with any potential or proper training, there's 9 who look and fight like Larry the Cable Guy.

you said it can't be improved. which is absolutely false.

I said it couldn't be taught/trained. Which is absolutely the truth. You can improve your reaction, but you can't override fight or flight response.

No theyre not.
You dont understand basic math, probability or occupational success

Lifetime of wrestling. Vastly more mma-equipped than any football or basketball player.

Something like % 60 of nfl players wrestled in high school
Chandler his brother who didnt wrestle would beat his ass (according to Jones)

LeBron could beat up Jones and Miocic at halftime with no ill effects.

I think guys like JJ Watt and Clay Matthews would get UFC Gold within a years training.

A level athlete is subjective. The best soccer players wouldn't make good football players and football players wouldn't make great soccer players. Different sports require different types of athletes. Think Lebron would be a world champ tennis player?

Ps - it's soccer so don't try to correct me

Bob Sapp, a B lvl NFL canbeat, one of the most decorated K1 fighters of all time twice (Hoost). Then there's Lesnar who is a A- athlete, beat Randy Couture and Frank Mir after 6 months of no head sparring lmfao

Z lvl athlete fat country Burger Nelson sent NFL'er Abu Schaubu to lala land
