General MMA Discussion & Future Lines- 2020

A couple of future lines I'm looking at that intrigue me:
Kleydson -240 vs Adashev
Giga -200 vs Kattar
Saidyokub -150 vs Kelleher

These all seem like great value at first glance to me, thoughts?

I'd rather go with FDGTD rather than Saidyokub's ML tbh. Kelleher is crafty, but not so durable, so it should cover both guys' path to victory I think.

Kleydson does seem like a lock against Adashev, but Giga at -200 is a bit too steep for me. That line will most definitely get closer as the fight nears, so I'd just wait to hit Chikadze if you lean towards him.

Khelleher not so durable? personally think he is a very durable vet, usually got a sub him to take him out

Oh, I didn't mean "not durable" as in shit chin, just that he's usually gotten finished in his UFC losses. Said might drop him and snag his neck like Montel did, or Brian will do that to him instead.

Then again, Kelleher did break out the wrestling against Pilarte, so maybe he'll be fighting safer from now on.

hes a very trialed and tested vet, bit of a step up from Jones in my opinion. Said is a beast though im a fan, cashed him in the debut and he seemed to improve
Kelleher's experience is the only thing keeping me from betting Said here, though I might change my tune come fight night.

Honestly, thinking about it more, I could definitely see Brian leaning heavily on his wrestling here. As long as he watches his neck, he should be safe.

Wonder how much respect Lewis will get as the expected favorite, I'd say at least -250 ish sounds about right

Not touching that fight with a ten foot pole. Tai could tank some early damage to get his own finish, but he could also eat shit early.

Gonna be a wild fight no doubt :D:D

Opened -146 Lewis but already down to -196 Lewis on FanDuel

This line will get steamed hard lmao Ankalaev should be -350 minimum by fight night. Moved to -200 already.

Anyone else think Modaferri is a solid bet at +300 against o Neil? O neil is still fairly green and inexperienced against higher level competition, and honestly I think Modaferri has the better striking and enough grappling technique/experience to keep it competitive there. I have a hard time seeing Modaferri getting finished by o'Neil and I also find it hard to see her getting controlled in the clinch or on the ground for 15 minutes. I don't think O neil is athletic enough nor strong enough to impose her will the way she needs to in this fight.

There is likely more value on FGTD because bettors are going to see O'Neil has finished her last three opponents, but there is absolutely value on Modafferi at +300.

I think you are misguided on O'Neil lacking athleticism because from my vantage point that is her best trait. She does though appear to have below average power for a WFLW which is not conducive to long-term success when you also have non-existent striking defense.

Modafferi's lack of offense will be what holds her back more than anything in this type of fight because O'Neil is all offense even if there is not much behind it. You are right though to question how O'Neils MMA game will holdup against higher level competition.
