my next keyboard will most likely be a Vega, eventually
I have the polaris 60 ai03 made before this one, and I'd like to keep that one at work.
it's a kit, so only the PCB and the case, you have to get the keycaps and switches as well, and have access to a soldering station to put it together.
It might come with a hotswap option as well, but I use ISO NorDEUK layout, so hot swap is almost never an option.
Dead easy soldering though, it's just 2 leads per switch, and it's all through hole. So easy even I can do it.
Think I might get a bit nutty and go for the green one this time around, most of my other ones are pretty boring, colour-wise
What type of switches do you use?
I watch a Dutch streamer and he has complained in the past about Dutch keyboard layouts not being the same. For example, a game might say press T but your Dutch layout doesn't have the T in the same spot as an English layout and they expect you too press the English key. Have you found that to be an issue?
nah, we use standard qwerty so that sort of thing is not an issue like it could be for french azerty or german qwertz or whatever.
As for switches I have a bunch of different ones. In the polaris I used mx creams lubed with TriboSys 3204, no idea what I'll be doing with the next one yet. Might try a silly frankenstein switch like holy pandas or something. got a few spare switches I could take apart and combine in dumb ways to see if any of them work. Just haven't had a ton of time to play around with that stuff lately.
Wait a second, there’s countries that don’t use QWERTY for their keyboards? How have I never noticed this before when I’ve gone to Internet cafes while travelling in Europe before? Makes me wonder if the emails that I sent to my family from France in 2003 were full of a bunch of gibberish.
I had a Zotac GTX 260 that lasted a decade. I didn’t OC and that wasn’t a high end card though.Do any of you guys have experience with Zotac cards?
I usually stick with the tried and true like Asus, Evga etc.. But decided to test my luck with a Zotac Geforce GTX 1660 Super Amp. It has good reviews and was cheaper than most of the others. Looks like it has a good cooler as well.

From what I read it's a chinese brand which explains why their prices are often a little cheaper but for the most part people seem to be saying they are just as good as the other popular brands. Guess I will find out.

I did read some posts about Zotac GPU fans being their weak link. The posts all dated back from a few years ago so I assume it's an issue that has been resolved. Most cards as long as they survive the DOA period will last for years. The components used like capacitors, ram, or even the gpu dies come from a couple of manufacturers. The only thing to really worry about down the road is the fans dying, which are easy to replace.
Did you guys see the new Corsair 4000D Airflow that launched a few weeks ago? Looks like the new functional king in the sub-$100 space to me. There is also a variant without a window, a non-mesh variant, and apparently a more expensive iCUE variant. I'm only seeing a page for the Standard and Airflow right now.

I did a cursory look, and they are supposed to be good budget tvs. Serviceable, does what it says, just don't expect bells and whistles.nobody had a TCL tv?
they review better than the samsung/lg's of the same price range, which is what has me turned around a bitI did a cursory look, and they are supposed to be good budget tvs. Serviceable, does what it says, just don't expect bells and whistles.
