Kind of funny that in the next scene they make a joke about how Tyrion isn't mentioned at all in the history of the War of the 5 Kings. Did I say funny? I meant awful.

Didn't the same thing happen after the battle of Blackwater? I vaguely remember something about Tyrion putting in a heroic effort there, and someone else taking all the credit. I may be wrong.

Sansa is a cunt. Will make a terrible queen. Sad.

Something like that

Varys told him history wont remember him..the people will forget him...but those who know, know

Tywin rode in and stole all the credit.

Hahaha no fucking way this show will be remembered the same way as The Sopranos or the Wire because of this last dumpster fire of a season, there's just no way.

It never was anyways.

It had dragons and zombies.

And a queef monster.

Exactly. Compare this to Breaking Bad, that got better and better and ended on its peak. GoT's peak was in season 6, three years ago.

Oh boi

That scene when Jon wiped Arya's tears got my eyes pretty wet also

And that synced sequence at the end with Jon, Arya and Sansa synced was sick.

You miss every point.

Robb didnt swing the word. And what happened? His decision was one of the factors that led to his death. A running theme in the story is people who dont follow the rule of swinging the sword yourself end up dying.

Huh? You are the one missing the mark. Robb did in fact swing the sword that decapitated Rickard. His decision to execute Rickard is one of the factors that lead to his death. It had nothing to do with whether he personally swung the sword or not.

Eddards point was if you dont swing the sword, it dehumanizes whom you're executing, keeping yourself at a distance from your actions and in a way absolving yourself of the responsibility, making it become easier and easier. Thats the entire point of Eddards opening scene in the series where he has his children watch an execution. Dany did the exact thing Eddard warned his children against doing.

Nobody in the show except Ned sticks to the idea of personally executing everyone you sentence to die. Not even Jon. This point has been irrelevant to the larger story so not sure why you are bringing it up.

This also doesn't excuse the fact he was executing people in the first place. When did Ned show remorse for executing the deserter?

I said there was an emotional reaction. You're inferring that that means they cried or something. Thats not my point. My point is that Dany has never shown that sort of emotion over killing any number of people, even innocent ones.

I never said the scenes of her showing care didnt exist. How do you even infer that? I said her benevolence was when she had something to gain.

Of course she shows emotion, what are you talking about? It's like we aren't watching the same show. Most of her decisions to execute people are born out of an emotional reaction to what she sees as evil and wanting to see justice done.

And she wasn't killing innocent people prior to this season.

when you consider that Frost Maul went from a grave threat to a nonentity/afterthought to Cersei being the major threat to a nonentity/afterthought to Dany being the horrific threat to her being dead ALL WITHIN THREE EPISODES.
Its absolutely ridiculous to think of it when you put it this way.

And D&D knew that they had to fit all that in, and thought it would be fine
