Paddy has terrible striking defense and was getting tagged by Jared Gordon, he’s also a brawler and brawling with Iron Mike is a recipe for disaster, unless you’re an elite striker like Poirier or Gaethje.

Chandler is a tough night out for every lightweight there has ever been. He finds a degree of success in every fight, I just don’t see Paddy taking those bombs (which he will)

Gaethje is past his prime, Paddy has shown more responsible stand up defense and movement in his last few fights, his offense is still not great though, but neither is Gaethje's fight IQ.

Paddy's BJJ is legit, Gaethje's striking is legit.

I think the combination of Gaethje's age and fight IQ puts him at a disadvantage. I'd bet on Paddy is he is an underdog, wouldn't feel comfortable betting on Gaethje at all though.
