This fight will determine whether Gaethje is still a contender or a gatekeeper. I slightly favor Fisev because he has some great counters and at this point in his career is going to be faster than Gaethje.

I think it's better for the division if Fiziev wins, but I am cheering for Gaethje, because I like him.

Gaethje is a shallow technical fighter who has almost no striking defense whatsoever. His game falls apart if his opponent knows how to defend a leg kick.

Fiziev was literally the striking coach at Tiger Muay Thai. Also he knows how to defend a leg kick.

I think if Justin can make it a dog fight he will get the advantage. However in a technical fight Fiziev has the advantage.

Both guys kicks are a problem but Fiziev has more variety of kicks, but Justin’s low leg kicks are a nightmare for anyone.

Justin does however need to be careful making this a war because Fiziev has power too and is lighting quick with his kicks, plus Justin can rely on his chin too much and neglect good striking defence.

Fiziev will attack the body with kicks, Justin will attack the legs with kicks, both will land to the head with punches.

It’s going to be fireworks either way tho.

I don’t think gaethe is a step up from RDA …. RDA is a very good fighter ! I’d bet RDA would tap Justin

and fiziev and RDA wasn’t close …. Fiziev won the first 3 rounds clearly …. Maybe lost the 4th caz he was taken down …. Then win by knockout in the 5th
