Rumored Gable Stevenson vs Francis Ngannou

Experts sherdoggers are already saying he beats Tom Aspinall. Fuck it, throw him in with big Frank, he can handle it if what these experts say is true.

He almost certainly signed on with the UFC after the first LFA fight. They'd be locking him now so PFL can't get him, and having him get some more exp before bringing him in.
Why are they shelving him in LFA then? The ufc has more then enough cans at HW for him to gain experence. Hes 2-0, Cain was 2-0 when they hired him, Rico is only 1-0, rubelis 4-0, Hardy was 3-0, Tafa was 3-0.
Im not saying give him brock treatment he hasnt the star power but they but he's at the level of many hires.

This is a bad idea , Gable is the best heavyweight prospect in recent memory and putting him in with a very experienced guy who can shut his lights off could ruin his career

I might be misremembering, but they put Ishii who was an Olympic gold medalist Judoka in the ring with Fedor after he had like 5 fights and I don’t think he ever recovered

bro, nobody beats Yuji Nagata. he got FEDOR and CROCOP for his FIRST 2 FIGHTS...

Dana signed him already, but he will let him develop in PowerSlap for a year or so till he’s ready.

i watched the 1st few minutes of it, i never watch his content so i don't know if this is new or what, but this motherfucker is making NO SENSE. listening to those first couple minutes was like listening to this guy:

like, yeah, i can understand some of those words, and the cadence sounds correct, but the shit just has no meaning.

Why is the UFC not signing Gable yet… I would hate to see the best HW prospect in many years end up signing outside of the premier MMA organization.
I do think they are waiting for him to get a few more fights but they will jump in if he starts negotiating with PFL or some other org.

Or maybe he does not want to go to fight for 3/3k in the dana wanker pretender series.

Who are the those ankle biters with the 51" armspan?

No way this Green Gables guy is going from fighting a few cans to immediately fighting Ambassador Ngannou

Likely because he doesn't have the exp yet and they don't want to just throw him right in there. The dude is a massive prospect who is getting a lot of attention. Guys like Cain, Hardy, and Tafa were not, even if Cain turned out amazing.

Rico and Robelis already had fighting careers.

I agree he's at the level of many signings, but they're playing it smart and safe with him. And keep in mind, he might not look it but he's only 25. If he was like 31 or something, I imagine they'd be pushing him a lot quicker so they could actually use him before he was too old.

Word on the street is he is already signed to the UFC and they’re letting him develop a bit in the regionals.
I hope this is true. Makes a lot of sense actually and I'm sure Dana would love to see him beat Francis before coming over.

Ngannou is wasting his last few good years doing nothing for PFL, its been a year since he fought Ferreira, 4 years since the Gane fight in 2 months, he made bank in all of those fights, is he waiting for Wilder for a final payday?

LFA is a feeder league for the UFC

I can almost believe this. He's a guy who speedran his way out of the WWE and the NFL in record time.

This is a terrible idea for Gable to take this fight right now. He should give himself time to work his way up.
It would be crazy, but Lesnar fought a former champ and Top 5 guy (Mir) in his second fight. Of course, his career was rushed because he started in his 30s. Gable is only 25. I don't think the risk of an early brutal KO is a good idea.

What do you think the market price on him is??? He is doing exactly what he is supposed to.

He wants 100k a fight. The UFC says you are 0-0. go on the regional scene, win a few fights, prove to us that you are worth that. He will crush 4 cans. Then sign in the UFC. maybe fight in contenders series. Then in the big show somewhere around 6 or 7 and 0. With fighting anyone good. Then he loses in the UFC to a HW that nobody knows who will become great after another 6 fights.

Ridiculous. Let this man build upon his mma career. Has he had 5 fights or won a belt yet? Why risk it all with no accolades in this sport?

Those running this sport can learn from Boxing promotion as far as building stars and navigating careers.

He gets ktfo by Francis and you have a prospect with no resume in the sport that will flame out in a few years with a handful of losses. Let the man reach his potential because I see greatness.

This would be an incredibly impressive way of potentially nuking a standout prospect. Francis is old and a bit out of his prime, but he's still going to smash Gable at this point. Imagine never being seriously hit and then being booked to fight Francis, lol.

It's weird how the expectations of a fighter's potential get confused with how good they are right now lol

Ngannou vs Steveson would be an absolute fucking massacre if it happened tomorrow

What a terrible idea. I want to see him smash the ufc. Not potentially get KOd by Francis.
