I know, just joking. I think that's the point of their characters though, and I think how they act and speak are actually pretty close to reality for northern Minnesota/Wisconsin area... haven't spent a lot of time there by any means but I do know some people from there, and that's the impression I get... not just the accent but the overly polite demeanor, etc.

Lester said yes this time. Me thinks he's gonna fall because of this. He really thinks he's untouchable. Fantastic.

Oh and the scene with Malvo and Lou in the diner was fucking intense.

Lester is so stupid. Last week, I figured he would do the smart and sensible thing and just walk back to his hotel room. But he does the complete opposite and talks to Malvo. Worst of all, he pesters him to the point Malvo had to blow his cover.

But it's also a badly-written excuse to advance the plot. What was Lester's motivation in trying to talk to Malvo. It just didn't make sense. Plus Malvo's impulsive action to blow his cover and kill his three friends was a bit flimsy and done more for the shock value. The situation was still easily salvageable.

Malvo's cover was pretty sweet. He had a hot girlfriend/wife, a high-paying job and a great house. He could have just retired from being a hitman and just lived off as a dentist.

Lester's true scumbag self shows up again. Felt bad for his sweet and naive wife.

Glad to see Molly finally got some validation and Bill embarrassed.

One more episode to go.

Agree. I was half-expecting Lou to die right there when he continued digging around for info on Malvo.

I can't wait for the season finale. It was getting a bit dry a few episodes ago but this episode was really good. How is Lester going to get out of this?
