Fury by KO

fury shouldn't have done a lot of things, that's just one. He's correct though.
You never let the smaller man push you back (unless setting a trap). Otherwise you're fighting like the smaller man which isn't the case with Fury. He's much bigger than Usyk.

yup, the wilder fight, even though wilder was dangerous, he was smaller and much less physical, made no sense for him to fight the way he did the first and third fight. Like I say, Fury finds a way to make things hard for himself, the opposite of what he's supposed to do.

Even if he does KO Usyk (which is unlikely) I think there are a lot of dangerous fights for Fury at this point, not that he will take any of them. This doesnt really feel like its deciding the clear no1 in the division anymore. Especially not if Fury wins considering how undisciplined and inconsistent he is.

The clear #1 was already decided. Usyk cleaned out the top dogs and became undisputed king. Whether he's still that guy is the only question. He could've retired and not rematched Fury. If he manages to somehow lose then he'll probably wish that he did.

i'd like you to show me some examples of people saying Usyk is unbeatable, i have never ever heard that before until this thread

"I really think Usyk is unbeatable"

Wasn't hard to find. Dunno what pundits, docs, discussions you watch.

is that one single person....LOL

who is that BTW?

and i dont watch any specific pundits, i just watch what i find or what gets presented to me

it took you a whole day to find it BTW, time well spent

I love the irony of Ricky Hatton calling usyk ‘small’ . He’d look like a fuckin giant if he stood next to Ricky
That's true. Ricky was probably just looking at him as being considered small relative to the giants at heavyweight today. Fury absolutely dwarfs him.

whoever says anyone is unbeatable is wrong. I didn't watch but no one is invincible.
They're always "unbeatable" until they get beat. When they do they're downgraded to "nearly unbeatable" and so on. The guy that said this about Usyk is a former boxing champion known for hyperbole.

he looks to be in great mental state, even if he does better, usyk will still win because he'll do better. Also, what is it with these beards in the ring? I know that's the thing these days but traditionally, beards were always cut off or wispy if allowed. It was thought they softened blows.

Usyk talking cruiserweight has bad mojo, Roy Jones and Chris Byrd couldn't go back down after being heavyweights. That'll be interesing.

always bad mojo to say that just like it was to say the titanic was unsinkable. It's almost like God says, "oh really?".

I've heard Usyk mention moving back down to cruiser but I agree it's a stupid idea. A potentially dangerous one. Like you mention with Roy & Byrd, and there've been others, it rarely works out. Especially when a fighter is already in the twilight of their career and Usyk is. He'll be 38 next month but still wants to cut to 200 lbs after bulking up for heavyweight? I hope it's just talk.

crazy how the most popular heavyweight of his era is in his late 30's and only had a few heavyweight championship fights, what a strange era.

Usyk? Fury & Joshua are much more popular. The only reason he doesn't have more fights at heavyweight is because he started his career at cruiserweight and remained there until he cleaned out the division. Another thing is that he usually only fights once a year. This is the first time since 2018 that he'll have fought twice in a year.
