We will never really know if a combination off those slight wobbles could have amounted to something or not, I thought in the moment they could, and fury should have tested it but didn’t really try.
It went how it went, I still don't know what multiple wobbles you're talking about. Usyk returned fire just about everytime Fury caught him with something putting Fury on his heels. Honestly if anyone looked like they were affected by their opponents shots it was Fury who Usyk stopped in his tracks multiple times. We will never really know if a combination off those slight wobbles could have amounted to something or not, I thought in the moment they could, and fury should have tested it but didn’t really try.
from last nights cardi mean, this is just from a very quick search, all just as high if not higher than Usyk, get over yourself, you have made a really poor observation a few times in this thread and cant back it up with anything substantial, that isnt me being condescending, its you being blind

I remember Usyk wincing when Gassiev's body shots would land. But the best shot landed by Gassiev was a big counter right hand upstairs that made Usyk's legs buckle for a moment. It wasn't enough to floor him but this was the very definition of a KO shot. Any other cruiserweight would've been laid out by it. The timing, placement, were all perfect and there was a lot of power on it.Gassiev is the only guy I’ve really seen hurt usyk, other than the Dubois ‘low blow’? He hit him to the body at the end of one of the rounds and it clearly affected him. However blink and you’d have missed it, it was the only thing he did all fight
Not to mention the bad optics of him making Fury back up so much despite the size difference.Honestly if anyone looked like they were affected by their opponents shots it was Fury who Usyk stopped in his tracks multiple times.
who wants that??!!Not sure why people want a 3rd fight?
Teddy Atlas was saying that he was watching this fight with his son and when Usyk lost the fifth, he told his son "Watch, he's going to figure out how to deal with this, watch him adjust."Usyk. Pro. I’ve never seen anyone make adjustments like he does, ever. Been watching boxing since the 80’s. No compares, he has faced tough battles with betterbiev in the amateurs, briedis, bellew, Joshua, fury… in all of these fights (and others) there’s always that moment where you say “I guess that’s all there’s to Usyk then”
It looks like he has been found out or figured out and then somehow, he comes out the next round and he is a different fighter, he forgets what happened in the previous rounds and starts again. It’s borderline miraculous how he does that shit.
I'll watch it again anyways, the copy I saw wasn't that clear. Fury didn't sit there and not do nothing, so, in that way he did ok, just not good enough.Thought it might, I put when in each round below the video anyway for your consideration. In hindsight I might have been overly alert to any signs Usyk might be hurt by fury’s punches this time round. IMO fury had to stop him or damn near it to win, so for me that would be the story of the fight: to what extent will fury manage to hurt him?
I saw the start of Usyk reacting to punches, in real time he looked staggered but I think it was more Usyk moving away from danger while his balance ability was slightly affected by the punches but I was perceiving it as AJ style full wobble/staggering. Seeing what I wanted to see a little bit I guess as well as awkward viewing angles.
Yeah, it's a bad look for Fury. Especially this version who is supposed to represent Kronk Gym's aggressive style and is supposedly the "King of Rematches". The massive size difference and the fact that Usyk isn't even considered a puncher make it look worse for Fury. Not to mention the bad optics of him making Fury back up so much despite the size difference.
that blubber, i don't get how he thought 12 pounds of blubber would help him, i just watched one of my fave box channels and he says that might have made the difference in fury not getting hurt. I dunno. It helped him little if any more than likely.
He came in heavier for the second Wilder fight but he fought like a big man for once and he was fighting a guy who didn't have anything but a right anyways. I don't see how that approach would help him here. Fury's best chance was to fight the wilder 2 type of fight, back his man up, impose his will, even then usyk woulda had answers but at least he would have had a shot instead of allowing the little guy to pressure him the entire fights, Fury rarely does the sensible things though.
weight doesn't usually equal what it takes away, which is why fighter weight was always something to be watched out for.Well it's more weight behind the punches, probably their thinking. Fat or muscle, weight is weight and it adds to punches, if you put your body into it.
I thought Fury looked good, one of his best performances, he was switched on all night and... He did plant his feet more than the first fight Vs wasting energy running backwards and endless feints...
I think he did better, had the right idea, but just not enough quite again, wasnt aggressive enough, didn't follow up when he had a punch or two...
Very close fight, so little in it. Anyone saying Usyk dominated etc is just watching through Fury hater shades lol.
My cat knows more about boxing than the New York Times. But anyway, it was a good and close fight despite Usyk getting the benefit of his Zelensky privilege. It isn't too wide. Many ringside observers and media outlets had that exact same score or even wider. I just randomly Googled for a couple. Here's how they scored it.
Bad Left Hook only had Fury winning 4 rounds: 1, 5, 9 & 10.

The New York Times only had Fury winning 3 rounds.
“I have Usyk winning easily, taking nine of the 12 rounds, so 117-111. Of course, several of those rounds, especially at the beginning, were reasonably close. But Fury in the last round used the back of his hands to slap at Usyk, the kind of maneuver you usually only see in desperation. This is boxing. Anything can happen. But Usyk has been disciplined from start to finish and Fury never mounted much of a significant threat.”

Agree totally my brother. These people have no clue how to score a fight. My cat knows more about boxing than the New York Times. But anyway, it was a good and close fight despite Usyk getting the benefit of his Zelensky privilege.

Do you always agree with yourself like this?Agree totally my brother. These people have no clue how to score a fight.
Great question, Bro. Just what I was going to ask.Do you always agree with yourself like this?

Oleksandr Usyk-Tyson Fury II round-by-round results
They had it 116-112 Usyk which is exactly what all 3 official judges had. Privilege? That's laughable. Fury has always been the A-side, the money fighter, and they fought on neutral grounds in both bouts.
When I'm right, I'm right.Do you always agree with yourself like this?
Very true.When I'm right, I'm right.
