Fury by KO

Yeah. He's just about the best heavyweight right now. I think most of the greats beat him.

He's not close to invincible. Anyone who wins fights by 1 or 2 rounds, and rounds by 1 or 2 punches and last minute flurries; split-decisions... is very beatable. He's just winning.

I think Dubois, with his newfound confidence and having come through Miller, Hrgović & battering Joshua - and knowing he can hurt Usyk - can definitely do it.
It's more impressive because he is relatively much smaller as a HW and is imposing his will on much bigger men.

It's funny because if Usyk fought in Ali's time he would've been considered enormous.

Yeah, they both rise to their opposition tbh.

Usyk is just a bit better, at least now, so Fury can't rise as much.

I just rewatched the Usyk v Chisora right the other day... honestly, anyone who thinks Usyk easily won that should go re-watch it that's all I'll say lol. And the commentary was so biased, despite thinking it would be in favour of Chisora @ British... totally not; Chisora was bashing him around the ring, had him ducking and huffing n puffing, much more than Fury has tbh, and, landing... and zippo, then Usyk would throw like 1 nothing jab and it was like 'OMG A MASTERCLASS FROM USYK'.

Honestly would not even be a bad call to say Chisora took it, or a draw at least.

I also think Ngannou beat Fury.

But then, they fight each other and rise to each other. Usyk v Fury 2 looked like a fkn impeccable machine vs. how he did against Chisora. And anyone who believes Usyk's line about 'maybe he was a bit shit on purpose' is retarded, he's just embarrassed that Derek Chisora gave him such a tough night.

Except recently Chisora himself admitted that he lost to Usyk. He said this on Talksport. Usyk fought Chisora in his own backyard so if the fight was as close as you're pretending then they'd have given the decision to him. Don't you think? In reality Chisora deserved to win 4 rounds. Same as Fury.

You're also using Usyk's first real fight at heavyweight against him. As if fighters don't have to acclimate to a higher weight class. We just saw it with Crawford against Madrimov. It takes 2 or 3 fights to adjust. It amazes me in just how little you know about this sport.

Joshua scored it for Usyk by 1 point. He didn't want to score it too wide for Usyk because Fury is a future opponent of his. That's my opinion. Have you seen the media & fan scoring? It's not close.
Yep thats very obvious good insight from you. There is all to gain from Joshua to see that fight as close as possible as it will directly impact the ability to sell his fight with Fury. I understand his reasoning. Could net him several more millions.

They could go for the conspiracy / incompetent refs angle the two best boxers in the world that didnt "loose" against Usyk but got the win stolen. Its absurd and delusional but hey both boxers were incapable of admitting defeat after the 2nd fight so there are the clips they can use to go for that and imo it will sell with the british public.

The promoters have started talks and imo Fury vs Aj will come up next 2025.

To me this is not a guaranteed win for Fury as many predict. His resumee is quite weak if you dont value Wilder as high like I do. AJ has a real chance of winning this.

Agreed. I think Joshua has a very good chance against Fury. He got knocked out in his last fight but that power will always be there and Fury is hittable.

I guess I'm one of the few that think Fury can easily handle AJ.
AJ doesn't do well with dudes that move a lot. Fury is capable of doing like 80% of what Usyk does in regards to movement and ring generalship. I think he can frustrate AJ and keep away for an easy UD.
But I dunno if Fury's ego would allow him to do that. He might just try to go for the KO and that would be his undoing.

Fury would be the favorite to beat Joshua but he will hit the canvas at least once. It's a fight that I could even see Fury getting stopped in. But, who knows how Joshua will be now that he's been properly KO'd. Does he become totally gun shy? He won't beat Fury if that's the case. In order to win he'll need to take some risks.

ya, he's got some great moves. I'd say the harder shots were landed by fury but they didn't really shake usyk and they weren't enough to win anything, not even some of the rounds they landed in, like someone in those vids said, no matter what fury would do, usyk would raise him.

It was good for the sport on the whole. No one is clamoring for a third but it didn't hurt the sport. Is a rematch in the contract?

oh lord, speak of the devil, here come the brits wanting a third.

Don’t throw all us brits all in the same pot. Most of us can’t stand fury and no one wants a 3rd fight other than furys own fans. Imo he’s lost comfortably in both fights.
